During the recent debt ceiling debate in the United States, I couldn't help but wonder whether Americans have a clue what their government is doing. The debate centers around raising the debt ceiling. The debt ceiling is the limit on how much the United States can borrow. Raising the debt ceiling actuality means that the Fed simply creates more dollars out of thin air. There is now more money chasing the same amount of goods and services, which leads to rising prices. Prices rise because every additional dollar that is created lowers the value of every dollar currently in existence, which is why we pay more for everything. This is bad for older Americans, the poor, and those who have saved and invested. And it is bad for every investor worldwide who is holding dollar-denominated investments.

That is why Libya, for example, refuses to accept dollars anymore in payment for their oil, and is the real reason the U.S. entered that conflict. Our government has been hijacked by special interests like Big Oil. Our foreign policy is dictated by Big Business and special interests.

Every extra dollar placed into the system erodes the vale of every dollar currently exiting. The idea is that this extra money will stimulate the economy, but the economy is not responding. So what is next?
A further round of money creation by the Fed is being talked about, but this is just a band-aid on a ruptured artery. The recent debt agreement created a so-called "Super Congress," a panel of 12 Republicans and Democrats who will make decisions for the Congress on monetary matters. This is unconstitutional, for it allows an elite group of 12, instead of the entire Congress, to make decisions in secret about Congresses responsibility on the budget. More tyranny.

The United States is headed ultimately for default or an economic collapse, if present trends continue.
So what can we do?

1) We can stop looking for answers in Washington D.C. That place is corrupted, and the Congress now resembles a rubber stamp for the banks and Big Oil.

2) Connect with people in your community. Create a thriving local community, which will help to shield us from the insanities of federal policies and breakneck spending.

3) When you vote, vote independent, not Democrat or Republican. I always vote for Ron Paul even though he is a Republican. But Paul gets it. So does Dennis Kuchinich, Democrat from Ohio. But these are two are exceptions. If we want change we have to vote change. Let's change the status-quo in Congress!
kjmacleanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16522340092665493512noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34505699.post-73080704631799702602011-08-05T10:45:00.000-07:002011-08-05T10:45:34.182-07:00

See this article:
It’s unbelievable. The media is still reporting that “the debt ceiling deal enacted large spending cuts over the next decade.” This is a lie. There are no spending cuts. Spending will grow and grow, just at a slightly lower rate of increase IF the plan is enacted. So we are buying a smaller yacht instead of a luxury yacht, even though we are barely paying our bills. Is this “savings?” According to the illogic of government and the media, it is.

We just went through this with the sub-prime mortgage crisis! Banks were selling expensive mortgages to people living in trailer parks, and they knew Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac would pick up the tab (meaning, of course, that the taxpayer picked up the tab). Now we are doing it again?

I have a suggestion: let’s all go out and buy Rolls Royce’s– but we’ll buy the less expensive model, and we’ll have “spending cuts.”

kjmacleanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16522340092665493512noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34505699.post-63353121902429986772011-05-30T07:05:00.001-07:002011-05-30T07:05:52.526-07:00The recent “end of the world” postulated by poor old Harold Camping got me thinking about the human condition, and Christian concepts like the Rapture. The Rapture is supposed to be an Event whereby the true believers are called to heaven, while the rest of us continue in our mundane and pointless existences on earth. Like almost all Biblical or ancient references, it does contains a grain of truth, albeit a distorted truth.

There are now seven billion human beings on earth, far more than at any time in human history. It is apparent to even a casual observer of life that events on planet earth are moving extremely rapidly. We are seeing an explosion of information, instant communication planet-wide, a bewildering eruption of financial and economic changes, and crazy weather all over the planet. How can all of this be explained?

From the limited viewpoint of the five human senses, it all seems confusing. From the body reality, physical events occur haphazardly and human affairs seem directed by coincidence, or “historical forces.” Attempts to explain the direction of human events usually degenerate unsatisfactorily into conspiracy theories. You know, the Gulf Oil Spill was a conspiracy by BP to raise oil prices, the nuclear accident in Japan was caused by a man-made tsunami, etc. There are dozens of conspiracy theories generated to explain every catastrophic event. We instinctively understand that people are responsible for events, but we don’t understand the broader picture: physical events are a result of physical actions combined with the influence of an invisible, programmable, holographic field of subtle energy that all people on earth are contributing to. Now there’s a mouthful! My new movie, “The Evolution of Human Consciousness,” explains this in greater detail.

Conspiracy theories and end-of-the-world scenarios are attempts to explain the direction of events solely from the five-sense reality of the body. But there is a much larger game being played outside the level of the body reality! We are all a part of this “higher” reality, which is at the invisible level of consciousness. More and more human beings are waking up to the idea that they are more than just the perceptions that filter through the body’s sensory system. People are discovering that there is another level of perception beyond the body’s five senses; a vast gateway not only to the multidimensional nature of the All-That-Is, but also to new physical laws and an understanding of life that goes far beyond five-sense reality. Here, my guidance tells me, is where the action is. It is at this level that we program the stage play called earth, and set the boundaries of what is possible and what is not.

Scientifically, of course, the above is preposterous, and the arbiter of truth on our planet is science. However, science (understandably) rejects anything that isn’t measurable and provable to the reality of the five human senses. That is what it has been designed to do. Science by definition is based firmly within the body reality, and so it naturally dismisses concepts that cannot fit within its matrix of provable phenomena.
To prove anything scientifically, it must fit within the body reality. Scientific instruments are all designed to relay data to the five human senses. In other words, an instrument may display data graphically, or beep when something is measured, because that is the only way data from the physical universe can be understood. The problem is that the scientific framework has been used to “prove” that spirituality is non-existent and delusional. Well, of course a system of investigation that is based firmly in the body reality will generate results within that framework. Garbage in, garbage out!

How do you explain intuition scientifically? You can’t. How do you explain psychic phenomena, or that you feel a greater sense of personal power, or awareness, or compassion for life? You can’t, using a system that has not been designed to even acknowledge its existence. Even so, a lot of us are experiencing such things! But it’s very difficult to explain these ideas coherently. When I do my radio show, Interview With Spirit, I am constantly banging up against the English language. English is a wonderful medium of expression, but it is firmly mired in body reality. There are almost no words that correctly express spiritual ideas! And so those of us who are waking up are trying to express ideas for which there is no established conceptual framework. There are no proper words. It is very difficult.

The idea of the Christian Rapture, for instance, is that those who have a certain belief system will be saved while the rest perish. What the Rapture is trying to express is the idea that humanity is evolving out of the body reality and into greater spiritual awareness. What is not understood is that this evolution is happening to everyone, not just the Chosen Few. We are all chosen! The New Reality – for want of a better word -- includes the body reality, but also makes us aware of our Higher Selves, and the multi-dimensional nature of the All-That-Is. We don’t want to make the mistake of saying that the body reality is lower, or something we need to ignore. The body and the physical playground are enormously captivating and exciting; it’s what we incarnated on earth to experience! It took us a lot of time to construct the physical universe; and the adventures we have all had, from lifetime to lifetime, are the stuff of legends when we return to Native State. But we also need to remember our connection with spirit. The combination of the body reality linked with increased spiritual awareness, and the understanding that our reality is programmable from the level of consciousness itself, makes our physical experience so much better. It’s like having a wonderful dinner along with a really superb wine. Why not enjoy both together?

How is humanity evolving in consciousness?

The engine of consciousness evolution in the physical begins with the rapid human population increase, which is creating an excitation within this higher “spiritual” reality.

Consider the idea that there really is an ether, an invisible substrate that permeates all physical objects. The ether would be like a gigantic holographic information system, accessible to every human being, and programmable through thought and intent. We don’t believe that such a thing exists because our authorities are rooted within the body reality. It takes a higher level of consciousness, unprovable scientifically, to even reach for this concept. And because it is outside of the body reality, it is not a subject for serious investigation.

In the vibrational universe concept, matter, energy, and thought are vibrational in nature, and thought has a direct effect on physical structure. Scientifically, within the body reality, the vibrational nature of atomic structure is accepted. It is not such a leap of the imagination to suppose that thoughts and emotions are vibrational as well (for further exploration of these ideas, you can view “The Unity of Spirit and Matter,” and “The Vibrational Universe movie,” free at http://www.sunrise-production.org.). In any system that is well-designed, you have to have a way to access it and repair it. In every system there is an information system associated with it. Your stove comes with a schematic that shows every part and how the appliance is put together. A house comes with a blueprint. Your cell phone not only has a schematic but a separate user manual that shows you how to program the device. The more sophisticated the system, the more likely it is to be programmable: the cell phone is more programmable than the stove, for example, but each system has information associated with it. Is it such a stretch to say that the earth herself has such an information system? I think not! The earth is the most complex and sophisticated system we know of! This tells us that even simple things like rocks and so-called “inanimate” objects also have associated information systems. I believe that these information systems were used by our so-called “primitive” ancestors, to machine and lift stones weighing 100 tons, and to create a linked series of monuments all over the planet that would be difficult or impossible for our engineers to duplicate today.

So let us assume that the earth herself is somehow programmable. How would we access the earth’s information system?

We know that health can be affected by stress and improved by thinking and acting more positively. What if the earth could be similarly affected by thought and intent? What if we could re-program what is possible by re-programming our own personal databases and our own lives? If that were possible, then physical events within the Matrix of Body Reality would be affected. In the past we have simply programmed our species for conflict, scarcity, and contention. However, when millions of people ask for greater prosperity, more tolerance, and an end to war, this has a tremendous effect on the earth’s information systems, and upon the species consciousness. The earth’s information system is the background vibration that is the backdrop for all human activity. It affects the parameters of permissible action. That is why we are seeing events changing so rapidly. We, the people of earth, are altering our reality through our thoughts and desires, and this is having a tremendous effect on our political and economic structures within the body reality.

Right now, however, we have not yet written coherent programming for our future, because the human race is still an adolescent species. The first requisite for a mature species is, at the very least, tolerance. The continuing conflict amongst human groups reflects a fragmented consciousness. It’s no wonder then, that although more and more of us are waking up, the human race does not yet have a coherent identity, and so we have not yet written coherent programming. That is why events have been so chaotic! We know what we don’t want (the current system) but we have not yet decided what we do want.
However, the continuing increase in human population will provide more spiritual oomph to enable us to transcend the body reality, and make a tipping point in consciousness even more likely. The invisible, subtle information systems of earth are being programmed every day by the thought and intent of individual human beings. In combination, we collectively program what is possible. Does this seem nutty? Does it seem crazy that all of us are responsible for what happens in our own lives and to the planet? Or do you prefer to believe that there are a few powerful crazies in the world who control events, and the rest of us are just victims? Does it seem silly to say that each one of us is a programmer of our reality? Well, it is silly if you are only aware of the body reality.

Adolescents whine and winge that the world is unfair and that they are not understood. Well, this is precisely what the human race has been doing for thousands of years. We complain about politicians and bankers and other low-life's, blaming our problems on others. We don't understand that individuals, collectively, are responsible for what is happening. We are the programmers and we determine what programs will run in the world; what actions are permissible, and the lines the actors on the stage can say. We, the audience, have in the past, not woken up to our power to close the play down and write a new one!

But that is changing now.

The more incarnated spirits there are on earth, the more the earth’s subtle fields of information/energy become activated, just as heat applied to a pan of water will excite the molecules and make them move faster and faster. By our very numbers, we are creating an excitation and an increase in the background vibration that affects all life on earth. This increasing vibration will allow new programming, at a higher level, to replace the old programming of contention and conflict. As humanity wakes up we will discover our power, celebrate our differences, and understand our shared divinity.

And it will also be accompanied by a recognition that the body reality is just a subset of a much larger, and more beautiful, way of being and living.kjmacleanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16522340092665493512noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34505699.post-53848909700745832302011-04-06T11:19:00.000-07:002011-04-06T20:35:08.821-07:00I haven't posted in here for a long time because I've been busier than a one-legged butt-kicker!

What is on my mind is the continuing polarization of our political and financial sectors. I cannot even listen to the "news" anymore, because for me it is so obviously just propaganda. ABC,CBS, NBC, FOX, NPR, all of these "news" outlets essentially broadcast the same information. Our "news" services are owned and controlled, lock, stock, and barrel, by corporations with agendas.

We are told that our Democratic and Republican representatives in Congress are debating about how to cut 50 or 60 billion dollars from a 3.5 trillion dollar budget. The deficit for 2011 fiscal year is expected to be over a trillion dollars. Yessir, cutting that 50 billion (in domestic spending, of course) will make a real big dent in the deficit!

Meanwhile, the "defense" department of the United States is spending over half a trillion trillion dollars every year. The United States military has bases all over the world. According to Wikipedia, the military of the United States is deployed in more than 150 countries, with more than 369,000 of its 1,580,255 active-duty personnel serving outside the United States and its territories. Many of our troops are still located at installations activated during the Cold War. Since 2001, the US has redeployed some of its forces as part of the "War on Terror."

The U.S. is fighting two pointless wars in Afghanistan and in Iraq, yet our representatives and our president cannot rationally answer a simple question like "What are we doing in Afghanistan?" "What are we doing in Iraq?"

A friend of mine asserts that the U.S. military must be present all over the world to "defend our freedoms." Yet in the United States, we have less and less freedom every year, so that can't be the answer.

What is the obvious solution?

We can start by drastically cutting the inflated Defense budget. That is, if we really believe in peace and freedom, and not war. Because our "Defense" Department is actually a Department of War. It's DoubleSpeak, just as George Orwell predicted in his book, 1984. Orwell said, if you'll recall, that "war is peace." How prescient! And while we're at it, let's haul the director of the CIA into Congress and ask him what his agencies are up to and how much money is going in to the "intelligence community." My guess is hundreds of billions of dollars every year. Meanwhile, our infrastructure is falling apart and our economy is struggling.

There's a gigantic dent in our budget deficit.

Of course, chicken-little's in the mainstream media will squawk that the sky will fall if we bring our troops home. "But we can't fight the war on terrorism if we stick our heads in the sand!" they will cry. Well, we simply can't afford our defense budget anymore. We have to live within our means. And the war on terrorism is just an excuse to pass more draconian legislation like the Patriot Acts and the Homegrown Terrorist Protection Act, that further restrict our freedoms. The wars in Libya, Afghanistan, and Iraq, and the war on terrorism, keep us in fear and divert our attention away from the gutting of our Constitution and the destruction of our financial sector.

We don't have a budget deficit in the United States. The IRS is set to collect over 2 trillion dollars this year! What we have is insane budget priorities.

The budget of the Unites States is geared toward war, it is as simple as that. And war is insane.

Our defense department does not defend the United States. It is an offensive organization that invades weaker countries and misspends tens of billions every year. Our intelligence community gives bad advice year after year, and is not held accountable. It's budget is not known by anyone in government. Both of these organizations drain hundreds of billions from our budget every year, and are unnecessary for true freedom.

In effect, the government of the people has been taken over by a cancer that has infected every department.

So what can we, the people, do?

The first thing we can do is stop voting Democrat or Republican, except for those Dems and Reps who show true integrity (like congressman Ron Paul). Democrats and Republicans are responsible for the bad decisions that have decimated our economy, our finances, and our politics.

A Congress filled with third-party representatives would certainly be willing to embark on real change! If we want real change we have to actually change, not just give lip-service to change.

The second thing we can do is audit the privately-owned Federal Reserve. Our government pays hundreds of billions of dollars in interest every year to this privately owned organization, for the sole purpose of printing and managing the money supply.

This, of course, is preposterous when the constitution gives the government the right to print and manage money. So the next thing the government can do is to refuse to pay the Fed the interest owing on the money it has lent to the United States. This money isn't real anyway, it's simply an electronic creation of the Fed, and has no real value.

Why should the people of the United States pay interest on worthless money to a bunch of people who have grossly mismanaged the dollar, and inflated it all out of proportion? We could save trillions of dollars right there. In answer to the argument that "you should always pay your debts," I say that we have already paid our debt to the Federal Reserve a hundred times over. No more money to the Fed and it's private owners! Let's institute an honest money system and let the Federal government print and manage our money, not a privately-owned bank. If we are going to have fiscal irresponsibility, let it be done by representatives who are accountable to the people, not unreachable persons like Paul Volcker, Alan Greenspan, and Ben Bernaicke.

But in order to do that, of course, we need new blood in Congress, and that means electing many more third party representatives. It isn't possible to do worse than these two corrupt gangs!

The problems that we have in the United States can be solved by the people taking back their government. We must abolish the Federal Reserve, end the phony war on terrorism, and bring our troops back home to work productively in the United States.
Our brave men and women in the armed forces are trained in leadership and hard work, and would be enormous assets in the domestic economy.

The rest of the world is waiting for us to do this. And the "terrorists" are largely a creation of the intelligence communities of the world, to keep the people fearful and allow them to suck us dry like the parasites they are.

If you had a bunch of blood-sucking leeches on your body, the first thing your doctor would do is remove them!

The third thing we can do is publish the budget of the intelligence services, and find out exactly what these fellows are doing. We need strong Congressional oversight over both the military and the intelligence community, to re-establish civilian control over organizations that have run amok.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!kjmacleanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16522340092665493512noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34505699.post-12740089894641702822010-10-19T08:02:00.000-07:002010-10-19T08:13:13.919-07:00Taking Sides

“Are you for Obama or for McCain?” “Are you a Liberal or a Conservative?” “Do you favor the death penalty for murderers?”

These questions, and many others we get asked a lot in life, are examples of “choices” that are actually representative of a polarized situation. More specifically, they are representative of a primitive information system; and require you to take sides. There are only two sides, or two data points, in such a primitive information system.

Information systems help us to organize data so that data can be used to perform useful work. Banks, corporations, and businesses of all kinds use information systems to keep track of accounts, sales, payroll, etc.

Every choice you make in life is dependent in one way or another on an information system. The problem is, we don’t recognize that the situations we get into in life are composed of information, and can be resolved by simply examining the information contained within the situation.

Primitive information systems are polarizing, and force you to take sides. They have very limited degrees of freedom, which means that the choices you have are limited. Nuanced information systems have many degrees of freedom, and offer a wide variety of choices. These nuanced information systems, however, can only be maintained in a cooperative environment.

For example, a hierarchical system like the military offers you limited choices: you follow orders or get kicked out. Any pyramidical structure, like a dictatorship, forces you to “toe the line” because there are almost no degrees of freedom. “Degrees of freedom” is a term that comes from physics, and it describes all of the possible states of a system. For example, a weather system might have any number of possible states, from clear and dry to windy and stormy. If a physical system is constrained to act only in certain ways, it has a limited degree of freedom. The swinging pendulum on a clock, for example, is constrained to go back and forth over the same path, over and over. But when you put a pot of water on the stove to boil, the water molecules can fly off in many different directions. In the United States, we once had many more degrees of freedom than we do now. Draconian laws passed after 9-11 to “fight terrorism” have restricted the freedoms of all citizens. When my wife and I tried to go to Vancouver, Canada in 2008, we had to cancel the trip because her passport had expired. Before 9 – 11, people passed freely back and forth over the Canadian border without hindrance.

<span style="font-family: georgia;font-family:";font-size:100%;" >(If you think that the restriction of freedom is coincidental, you need to see the film presented by Dr. Stephen Greer of the Disclosure Project. Von Braun stated categorically (and he was in a position to know) that a hoaxed “alien invasion” would be the pretext for the establishment of a world dictatorship by a group of nutty people who currently control the distribution of fossil fuels. Von Braun said, “and Carol, ALL of it is a lie.” But that is a subject for another article. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kpHAxxRKksQ&feature=channel).
<span style=";font-family:";font-size:12pt;" >
In life, it is generally better for our mental health to get involved in situations that give us a lot of choices, rather than just a few. When you walk into the TV store to buy an HDTV, it’s better to have 60 choices than just one or two. In general, the more degrees of freedom you have, the better off you are. If you have 5 job offers, with a range of opportunities and salary, it’s better than just having one measly offer.
A hierarchical information system constrains the participants, and involves a small number of choices. These primitive information systems create environments that force you to take sides, and make it easy for those at the top to manipulate the system. They are, by definition, polarizing. If there are only a very limited number of choices, it’s much easier to keep track of what everyone is doing, and stop unwanted behavior. That is why tyrannical political and economic systems always work to limit choices, and are often characterized by conflict. People like choices, and they don’t like to be constrained! Whenever you see a lot of conflict, examine the situation and the players, and look to see what kind of information system has been created. You will almost always find a polarized environment with very few choices.

Whenever you see a system that is going in the direction of limiting choices, you can be assured that that system is being manipulated for the benefit of a few.

Information systems with lots of degrees of freedom, on the other hand, are always based on cooperation, and result in high productivity, creativity, and freedom of choice for the participants.
In life, the idea is to get involved with nuanced information systems that offer a large number of choices. Successful organizations maintain a creative environment for their employees, and allow them a large degree of freedom to make choices in the execution of the duties. Control freaks and other insecure people always work to create systems with limited choices.

Cooperation is the first requisite of any sane organization or society, and requires that participants freely agree on the goals. All group members are “on the same page.” Successful organizations have managed to get around the idea of “taking sides” and have established an organizational culture in which agreement on a clearly defined goal, and cooperative action, are primary. They do this by creating information systems (environments) with many degrees of freedom. In these lively and productive organizations, participants perceive no, or very few, barriers to the goal.

The point of this article is to remind you that simply by observing a situation, you can count the number of degrees of freedom and that will tell you whether you are involved in a situation that is likely to be polarizing, or cooperative. You can look at how a group you are in (or a country) is evolving (toward more, or restricted, choices) and determine what is likely to happen next.

So how does a situation evolve into a polarized one, or into one that leads to cooperation and agreement? Well, we can probably agree that a polarized situation – like a family feud, or politics – is immature and inefficient. A cooperative organization is uptone and productive. A polarized group is inefficient, because individuals within it are fighting each other, trying to ascend to some position of status at the expense of others.

Politics, of course, is the ultimate in immaturity. Politicians need to take sides in order to show that they are strong on issues of concern to the voters, indicating that the entire information system is very primitive.
What do you do when you take sides? You define a position clearly and hold to it. But almost paradoxically, this is exactly what you have to do when applying the Law of Attraction to a positive goal and sticking to it for success. If you don’t know what you want, you certainly can’t develop a plan to get it! Without a clear idea of what is wanted, there is no intent, and without intent there is no effective action.

In order for intent to exist you have to hold a position. But there has to be a distinction between holding a position in a polarizing and unproductive situation, and holding a position cooperatively in order to accomplish a goal. Because the political choices are so limited in the United States, for example, desperate voters lurch toward the Democrats and back to the Republicans in a desperate hope that one of these parties can solve our problems. Two years ago, in 2008, American voters evicted the Republicans because they were incompetent. Now, voters want to throw out the Democrats and replace them with the Republicans! Nothing seems to change, because a primitive information system is locked into conflict on a very limited series of issues. As Albert Einstein once said, “insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.”

In politics, taking a position is almost always confrontational and argumentative. This situation almost always leads to a stalemate, because the intent is to block the other side from achieving their agenda. Cooperation also requires a very clear-cut goal and a very firm position, but the difference is broad agreement. In successful groups there is broad agreement on the goal, AND the absence of perceived barriers. Agreement on a goal is characteristic of any group, even a severely polarized group. The difference between a productive, cooperative group and a polarized group is that in the former there is a concentration on a positive goal, and in the latter the group members are fighting obstacles.
Take, for example, an organization such as a brokerage firm that engages in naked short selling. Naked short selling is an illegal form of trading all too common in our stock markets, involving the sale of phantom securities. A brokerage firm that engages in these activities will automatically see a barrier in governmental organizations like the SEC that are mandated by law to eradicate illegal trading practices. So this group will almost automatically evolve into a polarized group in which enemies are seen, and fought against, in the routine day-to-day operation of their organization.

A polarized environment will be created whenever any group perceives an obstacle to their goal. “We have to defeat our competition before we can be number one in our market. Therefore we have to squash XYZ Corp before we can be successful.” What if the group had this idea instead: “We will make such a great product, and back it up so well, that we will soon be number one in our market.” In both cases, a firm position was agreed upon, but in the latter case, the group members didn’t focus on barriers; they focused on a positive goal.

Perceived barriers will often morph into an “us against them” mentality. Sometimes that mentality can create an esprit-de-corps – as in a military group sent off to fight together against an enemy. But most often a polarized belief system will result in resistance to the perceived barrier, and in inefficiency.
So the way to judge whether a group is worth joining is to look at the level of cooperation within it, and determine whether it is fighting against something. But there are nuances to cooperation itself!
Hierarchical, top-down structures are usually controlled from the top and get individuals to “toe the line.” If you observe these groups you can see members cooperating, but if you look closer, paying attention to the scale of vibration/emotion, you can see that participants are acting out of fear or because “we have to.” These organizations often use fear, or sanctions, to control group members. These organizations are inefficient, because the participants are not self-motivated; the group members need a “kick in the pants” to keep them working.

Even groups that have a positive goal can be polarized, however. Charitable organizations can have a culture of competition, where members are trying to outdo each other, or rise to positions where they get to make decisions for the group. Such internal polarization makes the group inefficient, using much of their creative energy in intra-organizational struggles for power.

Effective cooperation must involve not only agreement, but also willingness, of the participants. And this leads us directly back to the scale of emotion/vibration. True cooperation exists at the higher levels of emotion; control structures exist somewhere around fear and anger, and no organization is possible if you go low enough on the scale.

Higher emotions: Cooperation: high volume of life force used for creative purposes. Few or no barriers seen in the group’s accomplishment of its goals. Focus of group members is outward toward the goal, not in internal struggles for power. High degree of freedom.

Anger, Fear: Hierarchical organizations: dictatorships, etc. Life force controlled, used for domination. Overcoming barriers, or internal struggles for power, are a prominent part of the group’s culture. Very limited degree of freedom.

Apathy: No organization possible; too little life force available

Organizations and groups that limit choice force participants down the scale of vibration/emotion. Then you either get a revolution and the group disintegrates, or the group goes down the scale to apathy and it falls apart. This has been the pattern for humanity for the past 5,000 years: rise and fall. And it always starts by limiting choices. In this article, I’m trying to show how limiting choices creates primitive information systems that can be easily recognized, and then changed for the better.

You can judge the effectiveness and the intelligence of an organization by its position on the scale of vibration/emotion. And you can measure that by just looking around and observing the group members.
I hope that this article has made it easier for you to observe the groups you belong to, and to evaluate them. I guarantee that you will have a much better time in those groups devoted to cooperation, and that offer many degrees of freedom, than those devoted to fighting for or against something.

The key is to recognize that all organizations and groups create information systems. Look behind the players and determine what that information system is, and whether it is evolving toward greater or lesser choice.kjmacleanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16522340092665493512noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34505699.post-69335496964495744072010-08-23T13:55:00.000-07:002010-08-23T13:56:45.541-07:00

This month we look at banking and finance, the underpinnings for any political system, and introduce a fascinating book that illustrates one man’s personal awakening about the United States’ role in the global economy.

The banking sector of the Western world is creating a global debt machine that is sucking the life out of the economy, transferring wealth from the middle classes to the elites who control the creation of money. This is basically the same as “say yes to it” or “stop resisting it.”

My reaction to hearing this sort of generalized self-help guidance is: whatever.

It’s good advice, but very glib. When you are actually IN an undesirable situation, you don’t want to hear anyone say “just accept it.” At least I don’t! I’m looking for practical solutions and I want them NOW.

My emotional reaction is usually something like this: “excuse me, but the situation is NOT acceptable! If I accept a bad situation I am just rolling over and giving up. How can you get a positive outcome by accepting something negative? It doesn’t make sense!”

Well, it turns out that accepting the situation IS the key to a positive outcome. But you have to do it a certain way.

I am going to share two examples from real life to illustrate this idea, from Amanda Goldston, my co-host on the Interview With Spirit show. Amanda’s examples are compelling because they are serious, real-life situations that were solved, almost magically, by the fundamental idea of acceptance..

Amanda is involved in a serious dispute with a mortgage company that is trying to take away her home. She has been battling this situation for over two years now.

After writing the mortgage company for 2 years, sending them reams of data about their payment history, going to court, and basically bitching up a storm and getting really angry at the system for its perceived injustices, she and her husband sat down and decided to look at the situation without prejudice, because they were in real danger of losing their house and having to move in with relatives. It was their contention that they owed the company no money other than the monthly mortgage payment, which was being paid every month by social services. The mortgage company asserted that the homeowners owed several thousand pounds in late fees and other charges.

Amanda and Greg went through all of the documents and looked at the entire history of their dealings with the company. After a totally honest and direct look at the facts – something that was VERY difficult to do because of the emotions surrounding the events – Amanda and Greg concluded that yes, maybe they really might owe the company some money. They looked at each other and faced the fact that they may in fact lose their house. At first this was very hard to accept, but since they had fully confronted the situation and the emotions and the resistance surrounding it, they were able – for the first time – to feel calm about having to leave, and began to draw up contingency plans.

Then something interesting happened. A short while after their sit-down, Amanda found herself at the computer, writing a letter to the company. She told me that she hardly knew what she was typing; it was as if someone else was dictating and she was just hitting the keyboard. Eight pages later, she had finished. She then enclosed a bill for 500 pounds, along with the letter, to the company for “wasting our time.” The company immediately sent a form letter back, once again demanding payment of fees and charges, so Amanda re-sent the letter with another $500 pound “wasting my time” invoice. The invoice was a little joke from her to the mortgage company.

Amazingly, after a delay of several weeks, the company sent her a letter back with a “valued customer appreciation” check, and ended the letter by saying that the matter was now concluded. No fees owed!

The check wasn’t for 500 pounds. A lot less, but Amanda was amazed, because the situation had resolved itself in their favor with almost no effort!

Amanda explained it to me by saying that they had done two things:

1) Fully and completely looked at the situation – a very complex legal situation with thousands of pounds involved — without prejudice, rancor, or resistance. They just laid it all out and observed every aspect of it.

2) They accepted the situation for what it was, and felt good about whatever might happen, even if they had to lose the house.

After that Amanda was inspired to write the letter that resolved the confrontation.

Amanda was first inspired by an acceptance meditation. She was able to release a little of her resistance and anger toward the mortgage company before the sit-down with Greg, which then allowed her to take a detailed look at all of the documentation relating to it. Very often when you are stuck in something uncomfortable, looking at it is the very last thing you want to do. It’s too difficult!

The laws of the universe respond when you actually change your vibration. If you don’t really change, you keep getting the same old stuff, with a little different twist each time, but nothing gets resolved. That’s what had happened for two years as Amanda went round and round with the mortgage company. The dominant vibration in Amanda was one of anger, which led to confrontation.

Accepting the situation for exactly what it was allowed Amanda to actually change her vibe. She told me the key moment was when she and Greg acknowledged that they might in fact actually owe the company some money. Both she and Greg were able to step back, out of their limited viewpoint, and actually see the situation from the company’s side as well. That led to an acceptance which then blew out all of their resistance and allowed them to accelerate up the emotional/vibrational scale. Then she felt that action was appropriate, and she acted. Amanda was very insistent on acting, rather than just meditating. “It’s really important to get into action, not just sit around and hope something will happen,” she said. “I wanted to let the universe take care of it, because we didn’t know what to do, but when I felt inspired to write that letter and send it off, I did.”

“Changing your vibration” is the sort of thing Esther Hicks talks about all the time in her lectures, but it goes over the head of a lot of people. When people first hear about the Law of Attraction, they want to say an affirmation or do a visualization and have everything immediately resolve. But that’s not how it works! To change your vibe you have to first accept where you are before you can make any progress. Amanda found that out with truly amazing results.

If you want to hear the interview with Amanda, you can go to the Interview With Spirit show and listen to show for August 18, 2010. Here’s the link: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/interviewwithspirit

Confronting something for what it is requires integrity. Integrity is wholeness, which is precisely what “looking at the unwanted situation for what it really is” means! You are looking at the WHOLE situation, not just holding your viewpoint and insisting upon it. When Amanda was able to step out of the situation to see BOTH sides (even the perspective of the evil mortgage company), she was able to honestly look at it, and then accept it.

I once heard a statement from Carolyn Myss, a medical intuitive, to the effect that she didn’t really run her life; she simply followed the hunches and inspiration from her Higher Self. I understand what that means now, and so does Amanda. She told me that a “higher” power wrote the letter for her. Apparently, fully accepting the situation with the mortgage company lowered all resistance and she was able to hear her Higher Self and act.

The second situation involved Amanda’s dog, who developed a nasty tumor. To remove it would cost 200 pounds (about $350), and she didn’t have the money. She wanted to go to the bank, but felt hopeless because her financial situation was not good, and banks are being very selective about who they lend to these days.

But the tumor kept getting bigger and bigger, and she realized she HAD to do something. So she decided, “what the hell, what’s the worst thing that can happen? They’ll say no and I won’t be any worse off.” Again, events forced her to the wall and she sucked it up and went to the bank. To her surprise, the loan officer smiled and said, “Sure, you can have the money.”

Well, Amanda went home feeling pretty good about the situation, and herself, even though there would now be an extra bill. Two in a row! she thought. This acceptance thing seemed to be working pretty well!

Then an amazing thing happened. That day, the dog kept scratching the tumor and it opened up. Amanda opened the door to let the dog outside, and it bumped up against the door frame. A short time later Amanda looked out and saw the dog licking the area where the tumor had been. It was gone! All that was left was a tiny red spot.

Amanda took the dog back to the vet, who said that it was very unusual for such growths to cleanly fall off. The vet gave her some topical crème to put on the dog’s skin and charged her 30 pounds for the visit.

So the universe came up with an even better solution, for now she didn’t have to go to the bank!

These two events are a great example of the power of acceptance, because they are not trivial. In fact, both of them were quite serious. Simply confronting the situation and accepting it led to two magical solutions, one in which they received money and a resolution to the housing problem, and another in which a small amount of money needed to be paid.

I think that’s pretty impressive. Well done Amanda!

kjmacleanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16522340092665493512noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34505699.post-87852083150539276812010-07-02T10:13:00.000-07:002010-07-02T10:15:22.773-07:00For 5,000 years we have been taught that our physical reality is massive and really hard to change. That viewpoint is limited, however, and is the result of knowledge gained strictly from the limitation of the five bodily senses. In fact, most of the "action" in the physical universe happens on a much subtler level. Quantum mechanics and computer science have taught us that physical objects can be viewed as vibrational information systems. And when we understand that, our solid and immovable reality becomes something much lighter and amenable to positive change.

An Information System is a coherent collection of data that can be stored, processed, and retrieved, to supply useful content to human beings. Most information these days is stored in databases, which are organized sets of data that can rapidly be input, calculated upon, and output. Information systems are used in business, to help process customer orders, organize inventory, calculate payroll, etc. Banks and securities firms are completely dependent on information systems to store customer account records and to process financial transactions. Information systems are an integral part of modern life.

But they are much more basic and fundamental even than that!

The universe itself is an information system; more precisely, it is a vibrational information system.

Science tells us that all physical objects, and energy, is made up of atoms. Atoms are composed of a tiny nucleus surrounded by an electron cloud. Electrons oscillate madly around the nucleus. The atom is 99% space, with electrons moving around in it. A vibration is essentially the periodic or aperiodic movement of something in space. Therefore, the atom is basically a little vibration. But it is also a unit of information!

String theory tells us that the electrons, protons, and neutrons of the atom are themselves composed of tiny, vibrating filaments that physicists have named "strings." So the essence of matter and energy is vibration.

For example, what information does this atom transmit?

hydrogen molecule

It says, "I am the element called hydrogen."

This atom says, "I am oxygen."
oxygen molecule

These two units of vibrational information can combine to form probably the most important substance on earth: H2O (water).

water molecule

The Periodic Table of Elements contains the basic building blocks for all physical objects and energies in the material world; that is why they are called elements. The definition of element is "a fundamental, essential, or irreducible constituent of a composite entity," and it comes from the Latin word elementum, which means "first principle." All of these elements are units of vibrational information, and all physical objects are a combination of one or more of these basic elements.

Therefore, the physical objects and energies that we see around us are actually vibrational information systems, just as the water molecule is an information system combining the two elements "hydrogen" and "oxygen." The important point here is that information systems are programmable!

Why does the hydrogen atom combine with the oxygen atom? Because they have been programmed to do so! You can believe the materialists if you want, who say that the universe is simply a random collection of energies that "just happened" to come together in the incredibly complex forms we observe in nature. But the existence of the universe itself, with its elegant physical laws, and the planet earth, with its millions of species and ecosystems that work together harmoniously, is the most obvious argument that life, and the physical world, is NOT random. No, the information systems for physical processes exist above the physical level, but this is something that a materialist can never understand, unless he or she experiences an increase in awareness.

When you take a step forward from the limited perception of the five physical senses, you begin to understand that the aggregations of physical matter, and the physical laws that allow them to interact, must be programmed from an information system, just as a computer program creates a multimedia presentation that can entertain and inform.

Water is a programmed information system that creates something vital to all life on planet earth.

You have probably heard of the work of the Japanese researcher who works with water, Dr. Masaru Emoto. Dr. Emoto performed experiments that showed how water crystals react to conscious intent. In other words, thought and intent re-programmed the physical structure of the water crystals. Again, to a materialist, such things are incomprehensible, and it is really funny to read the comments on his work from skeptics and other dead-heads who just don't get it!

ALL physical collections of matter and energy react to conscious intent! Our world is programmable, and we are the programmers. The problem is, we have not yet recognized this.

The reality we live in is, firstly, an interpreted reality. By that I mean that all perception is an interfacing of vibrations. The atom is a tiny little vibration, and all matter and energy is composed of atoms, and the receptor cells of the human body are atomic as well. So what we perceive as solid and real is nothing more than the interaction of vibrational information. For details on how this works, see my movie "The Vibrational Universe," at http://www.sunrise-production.org.

If we look at the cells and organs of our bodies, and the universe around us, simply as collections of information, we can see how any human being can be a programmer of their life!
Our bodies are information systems: coherent, and programmable, collections of vibration. The liver, for example, is programmed to eliminate waste; the heart is programmed to pump blood, the lungs to receive oxygen and release carbon dioxide, etc. The more you know about your body's information systems, the better you will be at programming it.

The universe is vibrational and informational, because a vibration is a unit of information. The two things are interchangeable, just as matter and energy are interchangeable, as Einstein showed us. A vibration is dynamic, constantly changing, and evolving. When you program a computer, for example, you give it a set of instructions that cause it to do something. The instructions to the computer are little packets of vibration; electronic impulses. What the computer outputs are also little packets of vibration that you see on your monitor and through your speakers. When you change the computer program, what is displayed also changes.

How do these vibrational information systems work? Well, we can get an idea by examining a hologram.

In 1947 a Hungarian scientist, Dennis Gabor, developed the theory of holography, for which he won the Nobel Prize in 1971. A hologram is made by shining a beam of light directly onto a light-sensitive plate (the reference beam), and then combining it with another beam of light that is redirected from a series of mirrors onto the object (the object beam), and back to the recording plate. The two light beams create an interference pattern, which is then recorded on a light sensitive plate. The interference pattern is just a vibrational intermingling of two sets of waveforms. When light is shined onto the plate, a vivid, 3 dimensional object results.

A hologram has the amazing property that even a tiny section of it contains all of the information for the entire hologram. In other words, the hologram has the entire information system for the complete image programmed into every piece of it. "Hologram" is just a fancy word that means "vibrational information system."

simple holographic setup
(simple 2 dimensional, flat, holographic setup)

If you are interested, you can look up the Holographic Principle. Introduced by physicist Gerardus t'Hooft in 1993, it states that the physics of any system can be described on the boundary of that system. In other words, the physics (the reality) of a 3 dimensional system can be described in two dimensions. So a holographic information system light-imprinted upon a flat, 2 dimensional plate can produce the 3 dimensional object perfectly.

What if the universe itself is holographic? This is the question Michael Talbot asked in his famous book, "The Holographic Universe." If a tiny little flat, 2 dimensional light sensitive plate can produce a startlingly real 3 dimensional image, imagine what a spherical hologram that is 13.5 billion light years in diameter (the size of the universe) could do!

My guidance tells me that such a gigantic spherical hologram would create a reality that is so persuasively real in every aspect, that it would essentially overwhelm the senses and appear to be the only possible reality. It would create a reality so convincing that spiritual beings could even become materialists, and actually believe nonsense like "you only go around once in life!" That is the purpose, apparently, of a physical existence. It provides such an incredibly sophisticated gameboard that it excludes all other realities, and provides an opportunity for an immortal being to become finite and vulnerable. It provides an opportunity to "test" yourself in an infinite variety of situations, for there are an infinite number of ways to program a physical universe. That is the power of information systems! My guidance tells me that there are literally trillions of different universes out there, each as real as the one we live in.

Such a complex spherical hologram could also record every single impression by every single physical being that existed within it. It could contain emotions, feelings, thoughts, and trillions of other perceptics (Akashic Records).
The more sophisticated a hologram is, the more real and solid it becomes. If you imagine the universe as a gigantic 3 dimensional hologram, you can imagine how real it could be if you immersed yourself directly inside it, which is precisely what we do when we incarnate into our physical bodies.

The physical body is the computer that interprets the vibrational content of the universe, and displays it for us to interact with. In other words, our receptor cells are programmed to recognize a certain (very small) bandwidth of vibration, and make that convincingly real to us. The only thing we have to remember is that we, as spiritual beings, are the programmers. This is easy to forget in a physical incarnation that is so convincing.

(This is what is meant when people say "the universe is illusion." What they mean is that we only see an interpreted, and infinitesimal slice, of the universal bandwidth of vibration. Of course what we experience is not illusion at all; but it IS illusory to say that what we can observe with the five human senses, and what we can infer from scientific instruments, is the only reality).

Here's the point: all physical systems are information systems and have programming that determines how the physical processes work, and the form of the component objects. The earth is an information system, your life is also an information system. And the programming for these systems is alterable!

Obviously, a program is no good if it just does the same thing over and over. Who wants to go back to DOS 6.0? And a program is also no good if the program itself is not accessible.

Where does the programming for these information systems exist?

I'm told that it exists OUTSIDE the perception of the five human senses, just like the programming for the computer exists outside the perception of the computer user, in an electronic, vibrational matrix inside the computer's central processing unit. All the user knows is the he or she turns the thing on, and it works. This programming is beyond the level of physical matter and is accessible by a spiritual being, even while incarnated in a physical body. This is what people like Esther Hicks have been trying to say for decades.

All scientific discoveries come from individuals, and in some sort of intuitive leap, or hunch. No skeptic or committee ever invented anything! That's because the skeptic is so busy defending the status quo that he is unable to be original, and the committee is busy shooting down brilliant ideas, in order to conform to the do-able, which is, essentially, the lowest common denominator of the collective. (If you've ever been on a committee, you know exactly what I'm talking about. And by the way, politics mostly operates by committee. Is it any wonder that politics is so petty, tawdry, and inefficient?)

Discovery always originates at the level of thought, and is translated to the physical. The programming level for physical information systems exists in the subtle realm of thought. We see this in everyday life. You make a decision to change your life, you act in different ways, you get different manifestations. But it's much more powerful that that!

A strong enough and coherent enough thought form, or thought template, can actually alter physical structure. If you understand that physical reality is malleable and is essentially information, this makes sense. But if you are a materialist, you think that reality is described only in the objects you see and feel. But that is a primitive and childish viewpoint. When you want to build a house you first design a blueprint. That blueprint is the information system that describes the physical house. Alteration of the blueprint results in alteration of the physical description of the house. Here we get back to the Holographic Principle again.

The 2 dimensional blueprint controls the 3 dimensional structure called "house." In other words, you could say quite accurately that the true reality of your house lies not in the physical building materials of foundation, walls, and roof, but in the blueprint itself. When you need to make changes to your house, you have to consult the blueprint first!

Humanity has control over its information systems.

These information systems exist outside the realm of the five physical senses, and create the physical blueprints for our interpreted reality. The double helix of DNA, for example, is just the physical representation of something vastly more complex and beautiful. The "activation" of DNA is the perception of these etheric blueprints, and the reprogramming of them through conscious intent, which results in healing (and new abilities that we didn't even know we have).

The universe and everything in it is, essentially, programmable, vibrational information.

That's all it is!

When humanity really begins to understand this idea, we will be able to change our lives, and the face of our planet, very rapidly.

We already understand information systems very well, so why does humanity continue to fight each other and pollute the planet? Why does 90% of human savings go to finance war and polluting fossil fuels, when we are already sitting on clean energy technology?

Well, people like David Icke (see the link to an excellent interview with Icke below) claims that extraterrestrials have modified the vibrational structure around planet earth, to keep humanity within a lower vibrational range so that they can feed off our energy of anger, fear, and other lower emotions. This has always made some kind of sense to me, because I have never been able to figure out why our species has never been able to come together. In my participation in and observance of groups, I have noticed that when human beings organize into groups, there is some kind of psychic trigger that says, "contention." Where does this impulse come from?

Well, if there are "evil ETs" or "evil controllers" on the planet earth, they must be the physical representation of the information systems that humanity has constructed. Physical manifestation of anything CANNOT occur unless there is agreement and intent for it to occur. Therefore, anything unwanted on planet earth is being created in an information system. And to uncreate it, you do not fight it! You simply reprogram it! You change the content of the vibrational information system, and viola! Like a computer that has been reprogrammed, you get a new program that does new things.

Look at the universe like a gigantic computer.

The mnemonic instructions that make the computer go are just electronic impulses that are programmed into it, just like the elements of the Periodic Table that make up the universe are units of vibrational information. For the computer, this set of instructions is called an Operating System, or OS. Each computer has an OS, which provides a platform that allows computer programmers to write the programs like Word and Photoshop that we use to get work done.

Now here is the exciting part.

We can reprogram the Operating System that runs the computer. The operating system controls what types of programs you can run. If you try to run Adobe CS5 with the 3D enhanced Photoshop on a computer running the DOS 6.0, Operating System, nothing will happen.
If you try to run the program "clean, free energy" on a human operating system that cannot understand it, you will get nothing but inefficient and scarce energy, and pollution.

What the human race is engaged in right now is, literally, the reprogramming of humanity's operating system. That will allow us to move from the program Fossil Fuels 2436.6 to Clean Energy 1.0, and from War 4354262534.9 to Cooperation 1.0! And we are doing it by changing our thoughts and belief systems from the old OS to a new OS. Once we get a new OS, we can start writing new and better programs that will lift the earth, and humanity, from it's present stressed-out and confused state.

Solid reality is actually vibrational information.

That's all it is.

YOU CHANGE REALITY BY CHANGING THE INFORMATION SYSTEM. And that information system changes when you choose differently.
Information IS reality!!!

That is something human beings are discovering. To rid yourself of unwanted things, you simply reprogram the hologram within which you live. And you do that vibrationally, by deciding differently. By consciously creating a vision of exactly what you want for yourself and the world.

That's the message this month, and I hope that it inspires you to get beyond the idea that reality is solid and hard to change. This point of view can only be maintained if you do not understand your spiritual nature, and use only the five physical senses to validate your experiences.

The real action is always, and has always been, and will always be, at the level of consciousness, and thought, and intent, for this is the level on which the information systems that create the physical world reside.kjmacleanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16522340092665493512noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34505699.post-49304756035238930012010-05-11T09:01:00.001-07:002010-05-11T09:02:50.037-07:00"A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong
enough to take everything you have."
----Thomas Jefferson

Tyranny by Any Name is...Tyranny

In the United states today we operate under the political system called Statism. Statism has various offshoots, which are just different branches of collectivism, or socialism. Socialism is a great concept in theory – the idea that society is managed for the good of all citizens -- but in practice it leads to tyranny. That is because the human race has not advanced far enough in awareness to implement it properly.

For example, In the United States, we have two different kinds of socialism, each one represented by a different party.

The Republican party practices Corporate Socialism, and the Democratic Party practices Government Socialism.
Corporate Socialism has been tried before, in Nazi Germany and in Fascist Italy.

The Nazi Party was called the National Socialist German Workers' Party, or Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei. It was characterized by corporate control of the economy, and in the political arena, intimidation and thuggery, as all opposition was quickly extinguished. Mussolini was a socialist before founding his National Fascist Party, and his views were influenced by his father, who was a revolutionary socialist. Both Naziism and Fascism is Corporate Socialism.

Corporate Socialism is characterized by a government that deregulates the economy for the benefit of corporate structures that work with government. The government offers corporations tax breaks, and in general provides a free-for-all environment in which corporate power can grow unchecked, resulting in endemic corruption. Corporate Socialism in the United States got going well in 1980, after Ronald Reagan was elected. Reagan began the deregulation of the financial and corporate sectors, leading eventually to the financial crisis.

Government Socialism is modeled on the Leninist/Stalinist (Soviet) model, and is characterized by a complete takeover of the economy, and political life, by the government. Corporations and banks are nationalized, and control passes to a small elite at the top. This is what we are experiencing now with the Obama administration, which essentially nationalized the automobile industry, and has attempted to take over banking and insurance as well. (Actually it's a lot more complicated than that; on 5 / 10 / 2010 the market suddenly dropped almost 1,000 points. This was the bankers' response to Obama's proposed "break up the big banks bill," S.3217. Because 70% of all trading today on the NYSE is done via computer, it is possible for the big players to rapidly move the market up or down. Essentially the message to Congress was, "If you fuck with us we will destroy the market." Congress capitulated later in the day, and the markets rose. Here is a video that explains this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JvOigT7S3VA)

The draft Senate Bill (S. 3217, the financial regulatory reform legislation referenced above, also contains provisions that will allow the Treasury Dept to completely take over the financial sector. It establishes a hidden "Office of Financial Research" inside the Treasury Department, which will have almost unlimited financial powers to create new derivative assets and regulate all organizations that use the Federal Reserve dollar. Don't be fooled by the "political talk" about this bill. It runs over 1300 pages, and none of our Democrat or Republican representatives will read the entire bill before voting on it. This is another reason, in the next election, to dump these two parties. Our Democrat and Republican representatives do not read the legislation they vote on. Congress is, today, basically a rubber stamp for influential corporations, who write the legislation and pass it on to Congress. The two bailouts, TARP and TALF, were passed by Congress before they had even read the bills. These bills essentially created more fiat money and transferred it to the banks, inflating the currency and harming the economy. The Patriot Acts, which gutted our constitution and our Bill of Rights, were passed without our representatives even glancing at the legislation.

Really, there isn’t a lot of difference between these two kinds of Statism, as both wind up being a hierarchical, top-down arrangement of society and its resources, which benefit the very few at the expense of the rest. This setup, in the deluded minds of its proponents, is called "power." Interestingly enough, all people who follow this philosophy of phantom power believe in materialism, and deny spirituality. They are inverted, and they make life miserable for the rest of us.

The Democrat party and the Republican party have failed us, the voters.

It is time to send them on their way.

If we do not change the people who represent us, nothing will change.

Our country is bankrupt. That is a simple fact. Our national (government) debt is over 12 trillion. The Chinese own over $40 trillion of our securities (government debt and private, bank created securities) accumulated over decades. Our governmental unfunded liabilities (Medicare, social security) total around $50 trillion. Our balance of payment deficits are over $500 billion every year. And our banks are holding tens of trillions more in worthless derivative assets like CDO's and CDS's.

This is the real problem, friends. Our banks hold so much worthless paper(which they created) that the government simply doesn't have the money to bail them out. In order to keep the economy on track, the Fed has simply been printing money for the past two years. Check the St. Louis Fed's graph of the money supply at http://research.stlouisfed.org/fred2/series/BASE and you will see what I mean.
This is what happens when the people of a country let others manage their money! When a government begins printing or creating money like you see on the graph, hyperinflation is right around the corner. Either that, or a currency devaluation. Both solutions lead to the same thing: a loss of purchasing power and a lower standard of living. That is why it is vital to conduct an audit of the Federal Reserve, the nation's central bank, which controls the printing and the creation of money. We, the people, need to find out what these guys have been doing to our beloved dollar!

People, we can still get our country back. But in order to do so, we must abandon the two failed parties who have allowed this situation to occur over the past 50 years. If we do not, we only have ourselves to blame.
Both the Democrat party and the Republican party embrace a top-down philosophy which benefits a few at the expense of the rest of us. Call it whatever "ism" you want, it is rule by the few over the many – or tyranny.

It is time to re-establish true representative democracy and restore the Constitution.

We must clean out the deadwood and start over, by electing 3rd party candidates and by completely boycotting the corrupt Democrat and Republican parties.

We must also hold Congressional hearings on the activities of our Intelligence agencies. Do not believe for a moment that these agencies are defending us against terrorism. They are criminal organizations that hide under the National Security Act of 1947, et seq, and National Security Directives. For "national security" read "we are committing crimes and we don't want you to find out about them." These outfits are themselves terrorist organizations.

In order to restore our democracy we must get new blood in Congress, audit the Federal Reserve, and open the Pandora's Box of the so called "intelligence community" and expose this stinking filth to the light of day.
It is time for the American people to turn off "American Idol" and demand accountability from the people in Washington DC.

--Ken
http://www.kjmaclean.com
http://www.macleanediting.comkjmacleanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16522340092665493512noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34505699.post-63144275481849635652010-04-20T16:05:00.000-07:002010-04-20T16:06:01.840-07:00HIGHER REALITY

The fundamental dichotomy in human thought and philosophy is the inability of humanity to understand the existence of the spiritual. Philosophy, religion, and science peripherally recognize an underlying but invisible substrate that creates the material world we see around us; but because it cannot be detected scientifically it is considered a nice, woo-woo idea that has no validity.

Science, religion and philosophy have different names for this invisible substrate. Science calls it a quantum excitation or a quantum field, religion calls it Spirit or God, but whatever it is, it is the élan vital, the animating and creative force that holds the universe together and makes life worth living. Those who dismiss this higher reality, and rely only on the five human senses, are missing something quintessential: these people have developed dark philosophies such as determinism, behaviorism, and materialism, and have condemned themselves to a severely limited view of themselves. On our planet today we see the results of this limited perception: hierarchical societies that devote a large proportion of humanity's energy in funding a war machine that eats up human resources and stifles the human spirit.

The very act of observation itself must include not just the mere surface recognition of objects, but an attempt to penetrate to the underlying and unifying principle that accompanies all ordinary perception with the five human senses.

Science as it is practiced today is a mundane activity, limited to mere observing and cataloging the interactions of gross matter. The argument for this limited view of science is, however, all around us in the machines and electronic devices that have made out lives easier. But these devices have also dramatically increased the amount of stress we are under. There is something missing from Western society. We can all feel it as we rush through our day; and as stress builds up we often wish that we were on vacation and away from the hectic pace of everyday life.

I believe that Rudolf Steiner said it best when he said "these achievements [modern technology] have nothing to do with the true need of gaining insight into nature...To observe the processes of nature with a view to subjecting its forces to the service of technology is quite different from seeking profound insight into the order of nature with the help of these processes. True science is only present when the human spirit seeks satisfaction for its needs without an extraneous purpose."<span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: "Times New Roman";" mce_style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: "Times New Roman";">[1]

Observation without an understanding of the human spirit is sterile, for matter and energy itself is a manifestation of an invisible, underlying and unifying principle that creates it. The physicist David Bohm says, "The classical idea of the separability of the world into distinct but interacting parts is no longer valid or relevant. Rather, we have to regard the universe as an undivided and unbroken whole. Division into particles, or into particles and fields, is only a crude abstraction and approximation. Thus, we come to an order that is radically different from that of Galileo and Newton -- the order of undivided wholeness."<span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: "Times New Roman";" mce_style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: "Times New Roman";">[2] Bohm calls this invisible, undivided wholeness the Implicate Order, because it exists but is implied and not measurable.

This order of undivided wholeness is not observable with the five human senses, yet it is an inseparable part of reality itself! All observation that denies the existence of this underlying reality is not true observation, and will lead to incomplete and fragmented thinking. Look around planet earth and you see evidence of this fragmentation everywhere: in politics, in religion, and in science as well.

The implicate order is inseparable from the material. It is what spiritually aware persons call the "connection to the Higher Self," or "higher consciousness," or the "connection to source." It is present in everything we see and experience. The task of true observation is to be aware of the existence of something fundamentally whole and complete that is an integral part of everything we perceive. Denial of this higher reality leads to self-limitation, and deluded, dark philosophies like determinism, materialism, and behaviorism. These systems of thought are incomplete because they deny the existence of spirit; which is to say, they deny the existence of this fundamental wholeness and unity.

They inevitably lead to an inverted system of thought based upon the irrational memes of problem resolution through conflict and war, and hierarchical control from above. Such deluded philosophies are incapable of recognizing the inherent power of harmony, cooperation, and teamwork.

Recognition of the implicate order naturally gives a good feeling about ourselves and others, and recognizes the power and satisfaction of working together. It will naturally lead to a reorganization of society, the development of alternative energy and medicine, the cleanup of our environment, and prosperity for all.

The higher emotions are based in that invisible essence called Spirit, something that not only transcends the limitations of the five human senses, but the constriction of "modern" scientific observation and research as well. All scientific attempts to limit the human being to a mere collection of electromagnetic and electrochemical impulses have been failures (cognitive scientists cannot agree on a definition of the mind, or where it is, for example). Attempts to limit self-awareness to the brain have also been unsatisfactory. Those who have had a spiritual epiphany recognize, without being able to prove or even satisfactorily describe their experiences, that there is a part of themselves that is greater than the physical.

True observation requires an opening of the mind and heart to something that is such an integral part of existence itself that we become unaware of its existence. We become like the man trapped in the woods, who cannot see the forest for the trees.

The discovery of Self requires an understanding and a recognition of the human spirit. Without this understanding, life becomes trivial and mundane, like a vulgar "reality" TV show where the most tawdry day-to-day activities are glorified. Life, as my friend Dave says, should be the striving towards the highest expression of Self. This reaching toward higher expression places us in contact with the underlying wholeness represented by Bohm's implicate order.

Understanding the Self ultimately results in a FEELING of wholeness and personal power. This understanding comes forth as an insight; a cognition; a sudden awareness that the human being is something more than the obvious and commonplace evidence of the five human senses.

Reaching this new awareness cannot be taught.

There is no formula, or recipe, or equation that can ever represent it or describe it. People like Eckhart Tolle or Neale Donald Walch, or anyone who has had a near-death experience can't tell you how they graduated to a new level of awareness, because that level is invisible; it is implied, and is not yet manifest. But to deny its existence is to deny the Self, and to exist in a lower consciousness.

However, when one observes without preconceived notions, or ulterior motives, one has the possibility of perceiving not just at the mundane level of matter, but can also penetrate to the essence of the implicate order and reach a higher awareness.

How this is done is completely different for every individual. The secret to life is that each individual human being is an aspect of an invisible, unified consciousness; but the path to spiritual awareness and enlightenment while in the physical is unique to each individual. In other words, that cognition to higher awareness cannot be duplicated or formularized, simply because it is so profoundly personal. But that is what lifts it above the mundane and the commonplace; when one discovers one's personal truth it is a revelation! And that, dear ones, is something that all of us can look forward to in our lives.

Ultimately, the transition out of the body is a return to this higher awareness; but for many of us the task is to discover our personal path while we are still on earth. And the way to this new understanding is simplicity itself. Observation with the awareness that within all things we perceive is a fundamental and higher reality, can allow us to simply open ourselves up to the world at large, and thereby gain a powerful new understanding without having to work at it.

<span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: "Times New Roman";" mce_style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: "Times New Roman";">[1] Quoted in "The Rediscovery of Color," Heinrich O. And such an egregious and obvious distortion cannot be explained away by generalities like "it's just human nature," or "that's just the way things are." No my friends, when the ball breaks the window and leaves shattered glass inside the living room, it didn't just "happen." Somebody caused it.

It is time for the human race to understand the players behind the scenes.

I have studiously avoided presenting this material, for the simple reason that I don't believe in conspiracy theories, or in unfounded generalities. But the evidence is now overwhelming that the politicians and religious leaders that we see on the news do not hold the power. They are actors on the stage; reading their lines. The real power has been hidden and is now being exposed. So this week I have brought you some links to some very smart and courageous people who I believe have identified the real players.

The history of planet earth over the last millennium is the rise of powerful and cooperative families. These families, over the centuries, created wealth through cleverness and hard work. They banded together, intermarried, and now have control over banking, finance, and energy. Like any family, there are factions within the group that have different agendas. You will find many conspiracy theories on the internet that claim some sort of monolithic and all-powerful organization that is taking planet earth down the tubes; but this is very far from the truth. In fact, the good guys are winning! However, those of us in the United States are in the very center of the darkness, and things don't look so good from in here. Our intelligence community, senior levels of our Congress and Executive branch, and our Supreme Court have essentially been taken over by a nazi-style cabal that has taken our country away from the rule of law, the constitution, and the generous and compassionate principles upon which this country was founded. It has bankrupted our economy, stolen our wealth, wrecked the dollar, and stripped our manufacturing base. Nevertheless, progress is being made as the consciousness of humanity rises and the old paradigm of thought, which has been around for thousands of years, gradually evolves into a more cooperative pattern. 2012 is about the evolution of humanity, and NOT about destruction!

There are MAJOR changes upcoming within the next couple of years, as the financial system is purged of phony fiat-money and fraudulent derivatives, and a new gold-backed dollar is reestablished from Asian stores of gold; and as the gigantic, planetary endless-war killing machine is replaced with a revised political and economic system that will allow a cleanup of the planetary environment, the introduction of "free energy" technology that has been suppressed for decades, cooperation between world governments, a resolution of tensions between East and West, and a transformation of the oil, pharmaceutical, and banking cartels that have benefited a small elite and have stolen the productivity of humanity. There will be a shift in power from the United States and Western Europe to Asia, particularly China. Americans have been living beyond our means for decades, accepting HDTV's, automobiles, electronic products and appliances from Asia in exchange for US Treasury securities and other commercial paper that has become almost worthless, as our government continues its irresponsible deficit spending. Now the bill is coming due! The Chinese and the Japanese have trillions of dollars in "real" honest money generated through hard work, while the Western supply of money is mostly fraudulent, based on largely worthless Federal Reserve printing of phony derivatives and Treasury securities, used to finance wasteful spending and support the insane faction that has gained power through stealth, bribery, and corruption. If this is something you don't want to hear, or don't believe, then stop reading. I don't want to force my views on anyone else! But don't be shocked if, during the next couple of years, you hear about some pretty shocking things.

90% of all of the dollars in existence are not owned by Americans. These phony dollars will be purged from the system (this is occurring now as Asian, Arabic, and even South American nations will no longer accept Fed generated dollars in payment for oil and other commodities, nor Treasury securities to finance deficit spending; and new banking rules that require participating banks to honestly declare source of funds as regards securities, as well as all gains and losses). There will have to be a regime change in the United States, because the U.S. government has been taken over by a faction of endless-war crooks who have ripped-off the American people and bankrupted the country. Hopefully, a South African style Truth and Reconciliation Commission can be established to deal with the people who have perpetrated decades of madness, like the assassination of JFK, Malcolm X, Bobby Kennedy, Martin Luther King; the silencing and assassination of numerous inventors who have researched "free energy" and other clean and abundant energy technologies; and the fomenting of endless war. In this way we can avoid the executions and the killing that will only sink us back into the old paradigm. All of this is coming in the near future.

At any rate, both the Federal Reserve and the United States government are now hopelessly bankrupt, and are gradually being cut off in international finance and trade, until the cabal that runs the United States is ousted. Therefore, it will not be possible for the US to continue its vast military machine much longer, which is good for world peace. (If these statements seem preposterous, it is a measure of the media control that exists, especially within the US. To understand the statement that the US govt is nazi-like, simply read legislation passed since 9/11; legislation like the Patriot Acts, the Homegrown Terrorist Protection Act, the Real ID Act, and a host of others).

All of this information will be coming out within the next several years, and it will shock the largely brainwashed population of the United States. But the American people will ultimately accept these changes, because the new system will transform organizations now dedicated to war, release suppressed free energy technology, and clean up the polluted mess that we have made of planet earth. Americans are an ingenious people, and when the yoke of the criminal Washington D.C. corporation is removed, the US can get back to Constitutional government and Constitutional principles.

There are millions of geniuses on planet earth, and million of others who, in the coming years, will be given the opportunity to transform our planet. All of us will pitch in and I hope to see, in my lifetime (I am 58) a new paradigm of thought established on earth. It's a lot closer than we think.

I present to you a series of links to people I respect, who I believe have the right orientation to present information on what is going on "behind the scenes." Mostly this decision comes about from confusion. It is understandable that people would become confused with the overwhelming amount of data we all have to deal with, and with the country being run more and more by faceless corporations who seem to be motivated only by self-interest.

However, giving up your power to a government, or to a President, because he or she "knows what to do," must eventually lead to a breakdown of society. Only when citizens are educated and demand accountability from their representatives, can democracy flourish.

Here is what Babka and Willis say about the current situation:

If you asked us what surprises us most about the world we live in,
this would be high on the list . . .

* Statists control nearly everything

* Statist arguments dominate the national debate

* And yet, public opinion is still largely anti-Statist

Remember, Statism is the belief that . . .

* Your life needs to be engineered by a select group of people
(Congress, the President) from the top down

* People must be threatened with violence in order to make them
comply with these designs and dictates

* People who don't submit to these threats, should actually suffer
violence, in the form of imprisonment, the loss of property, and
possibly even death, depending on how much they resist

Social engineering, threats, and violence -- these are the sordid
reality behind all the euphemistic talk we hear from Statists about
things like compassion, order, safety, and security. Whenever someone
proposes the State must do something, we should ask . . .

* Will the proposal protect your freedom to live your life as you see
fit -- provided you don't impinge on the equal freedom of others to do
the same? Or . . .

* Will the proposal itself threaten you with violence, instead of
protecting you from it? Because . . .

If it protects your freedom, then it's in keeping with the idea of
Constitutional government and human liberty. If threatens you with
fines, imprisonment, etc., then you're talking about Statism.

Sadly, nearly everything discussed in the national debate is Statist.
Consider the current so-called healthcare bill. It's jam-packed with
threats of violence . . .

* You must have health insurance of a kind dictated by politicians

* If you don't buy health insurance then you'll be fined -- your hard
earned property will be stolen from you

* If you try to avoid the fine, then minions of the State will find
some way to take the money from you

* If you try to hide your money so that it can't be seized,
eventually men with guns will show up at your door to kidnap you, and
hold you in confinement

* If you try to resist this kidnapping then the men will draw their
guns, and if you continue to resist they will shoot you

This is the grim truth about the healthcare bill, and about nearly
everything our government now does. Statism equals violence. And yet.
. .

Many people are blind to this reality. They cannot see the gun that's
implicit in what they advocate. And because they can't see the gun,
they can't see the inherent contradiction in their beliefs.

Threatening and initiating violence against others contradicts
compassion, order, safety, and security.

The Statist is inherently hypocritical, wanting to be protected from
threats and violence when his own interests and beliefs are at stake,
but wanting to use threats and violence to impose his interests and
beliefs on others. This is not government, this is thuggery. Statist
thuggery.

And yet, everywhere we look we see this thuggery wrapped in the flag,
and marching to patriotic music. Statist thuggery is . . .

* Taught in our schools and universities

* Preached by our politicians

* Presented as the only option by the major established news media

* Defended in advertising by every special interest beneficiary of
Statist violence

* Invoked nearly every time someone says "there ought to be a law"

My comment: When President Obama was asked whether he and his family would sign up for the new heathcare plan that he himself is pushing, he avoided the question and would not answer it. Our Congressmen and women refuse to have anything to do with this healthcare legislation, and have their own separate, elitist plan (supported by your tax dollars, of course). The bill is opposed by a majority of American citizens.

So why, then, is is being so assiduously promoted? The Democratic Congress is using a procedural tactic to pass the Senate version of healthcare, without the House having to vote on it. This is unconstitutional.

As I said in a previous blog post, healthcare is essentially pharmaceutical drugs and invasive surgeries.
According to Dr. Barbara Starfield of the Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health, writing in JAMA (the Journal of the American Medical Association) 250,000 deaths per year are caused by medical errors, making this the third-largest cause of death in the U.S., following heart disease and cancer.

Think about what you are getting when you allow the government to run your lives.
More statism, more collectivism -- which just means, more rule from above by a small elite -- and less freedom.

Here is a perfect example of the sort of shenanigans that go on in Congress. During the recent health care debate, Senator Henry Reid used illegal parliamentary maneuvering to insert an illegal provision in the Senate Health care bill. This analysis is take directly from Christopher Story's latest blog post:

"ILLEGAL ANTI-REPEAL PROVISION BURIED INSIDE THE BILL
"Buried within the massive amendment to the Senate version of the Health Care legislation inserted by Senator Harry Reid of Nevada is an illegal clause which purports to bind Congress in the future from repealing Section 3403. In the United Kingdom, no House of Commons can bind its successor, and the same principle applies in the United States. The offending clause reads:

"‘It shall not be in order in the Senate or the House of Representatives to consider any bill, resolution, amendment or conference report that would repeal or otherwise change this subsection’.

"The subsection, starting on page 1,000 of this convoluted Talmudic legislation, concerns the regulatory power of the Independent Medicare Advisory Board (IMAB) to ‘reduce the per capita rate of growth of Medicare spending’.

"THIS IS THE MEASURE THAT PROSPECTIVELY CURBS OUTLAYS AS EXPLAINED ABOVE
This is the measure that controls, curbs and prospectively reduces the aggregate value of payouts for health care services to Americans, thereby, as explained above, also CURBING payouts by the insurers to pay for the Medicare expenditures incurred – and thereby, in turn again, ensuring that as much of the insurance money remains invested on Wall Street (proxy for the financial markets and system generally) in order to maximise the potential for such funds to be diverted into illicit trading platforms and operations under the radar, contrary to the Law .

"ANTI-REPEAL CLAUSE = CHANGE IN SENATE ‘PROCEDURES’, NOT IN SENATE RULES
In order to procure the ‘legality’ of the provision that this subsection cannot ever be repealed or changed in the future, the (Reid-controlled) Senate Parliamentarian has ruled, in a classic example of nefarious ‘loopholeism’, that the anti-repeal provision does not constitute a change of Senate RULES, but rather of Senate ‘procedures’.

"The reason for this is that for 200 years, changes in the Senate's standing rules have required approval by two-thirds of those voting – that is to say, 67 votes, rather than the 60 votes that Senator Reid’s amendment received.

"Thus Senator Harry Reid flouted two centuries of standing US Senate rules to pass a measure in the dead of night (which these Dark Forces always try to do) that no Senator has read, and part of which can never be changed (although the anti-repeal provision is illegal).

"Senator Reid is reported to have tossed aside an earlier assurance that Senators and the public would have 72 hours to read the language of his contributions to the Senate measure – because if the existence of this clause had been highlighted in time, there might have been an uproar.

"After approving the House of Representatives’ bill by 219 to 212 votes on Sunday 21st March 2010, the House adopted a package of changes to it by a vote of 220 to 211.

"The package, which was agreed to in negotiations between House and Senate Democrats and the White House, goes to the Senate probably this week."

Again, statism is synonymous with using the power of government to advance a political (or economic) agenda. When the citizens of a country allow their government to get too large, it stifles political freedom and the economy, aggrandizing more and more resources unto itself. The common denominator of impoverished Third World countries (and nations that don't work) is a very large central government relative to the private sector. This is precisely what has happened in the United States over the past 40 years. We, the people, have neglected to hold our elected representatives to Constitutional principles that guarantee freedom and which leads to a productive society. Instead, we have opted for a statist, centralized solution that, unfortunately, in hierarchical and allows the affairs of the nation to be more easily controlled for the benefit of a few special interests, and to the detriment of the majority.kjmacleanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16522340092665493512noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34505699.post-88415939998620933962010-01-28T15:14:00.000-08:002010-01-28T15:15:05.540-08:00New Scientific Discovery

A new paper by physicists Nassim Haramein and Elizabeth Rauscher shows the essential unity within nature. This is a very exciting development and gives concrete proof to the idea that the natural world did not evolve randomly; or, if it did, it was somehow guided toward wholeness and unity.

Before the development of chaos theory, science looked at the world as a sort of vast, sophisticated mechanical contrivance. It was thought that if one took this device apart, one could inspect and analyze the various components and arrive at a complete understanding of the whole. But that was before the work of Alan Turing, Edwin Lorenz, and Benoit Mandelbrot (the father of fractals). Lorenz was the discoverer of the famous "Butterfly Effect," which asserted that the wings of a butterfly in Brazil might influence the creation of a tornado in Texas. Lorenz came up with this idea in his study of weather patterns.

Lorenz found that a very simple mathematical equation, if fed back upon itself, could create very complex patterns that changed and evolved in wholly unpredictable ways. This was in direct contrast to the idea that a complex world must be the result of a very complex device, just as the time display on an old watch must contain a sophisticated set of interacting gears. But Lorenz showed that infinite complexity can result from a trivial set of instructions that even a child could understand, and that evolution could proceed along entirely different lines if one changed, even ever so slightly, one of the parameters of the instruction set.

The Mandelbrot Set, the most famous fractal of all time, is the result of this simple equation: z = z2 + c. That's it!

The other fractal landscape images are also mathematically generated.

(Images found in The Science of Fractal Images, Peitgen and Saupe, Springer-Verlag Press)

A Theory of Everything could, theoretically, be the result of some very simple set of conditions that could generate everything in the entire universe; a sort of elegant "Big Bang" that would contain within it a simple instruction set that could create the entire universe. The Hindu's have this idea; it is called the OM. The OM is said to be the fundamental universal vibration that contains all harmonics and sub-harmonics, and that which everything in existence resonates to.
To understand more about how this idea of complexity from simplicity came about, you can go to You Tube and see a very interesting 6-part video set from the BBC called "The Secret Life of Chaos." These videos explain the fascinating ideas and discoveries of the science of chaos theory in layman's terms, and are well worth watching.

Now we come to the discovery of Haramein and Rauscher, and their paper, SCALE UNIFICATION – A UNIVERSAL SCALING LAW FOR ORGANIZED MATTER
(Nassim Haramein, Michael Hyson, E. A. Rauscher)

It turns out that everything in the universe vibrates or resonates to a certain frequency. Galaxies, stars, atomic nuclei, and the human cell each have their own peculiar rate of vibration. The universe itself even has a fundamental vibrational frequency, which science has been able to measure. So what would happen if you collected the data about resonance rates and plotted them against size? In other words, if you went from lowest size (the Planck quantities, which are the basic energy quanta in the universe, and the atom) all the way up to the largest (the universe itself) and compared the frequencies, what would you find?
If the universe was simply a randomly evolved collection of matter and energy, you'd find no relationship at all. But if there was an underlying unity or wholeness, then there would be some sort of relationship. Haramein et al made a table, collecting the information:
size versus frequency table

When this information was plotted on a graph, it looks like this:
graph of frequency versus size

This is almost a straight-line relationship! At the top left of the graph is the "Big Bang" itself: a condition whereby all of the energy of the universe was crunched into a very tiny little ball, called a singularity. On the left side of the graph is the frequency, or rate of vibration, from highest at the top to lowest at the bottom. On the right side of the graph is the radius of the object, from lowest to highest. So the top left of the graph is the smallest object (the singularity from which the universe originated) which, understandably, has the highest rate of vibration. At the bottom right of the graph is the very largest object (marked "u" on the graph, for universe), which has the lowest frequency.

What Haramein hasn't shown in this graph is the position of the human cell. It is right in the middle of the graph, between A (atomic nuclei) and S (stellar)!

The human cell resonates at the frequency of about 10^11 Hz (cycles, or vibrations, per second). If you find "10" on the graph and draw a straight horizontal line to the slanted line on the graph, you'll see where the human cell is on the graph.

When the data points on this graph are analyzed, they demonstrate the Phi relationship. Phi is the Golden section, and has been called the "divine proportion" because so many of life's own forms are modeled on it. For instance, the relationship between the lengths of the finger joints is in Phi ratio, and so is the relationship between the hand, the forearm, and the upper arm; the foot, the lower leg and the upper leg; the distance between the top of the head and the nose, and the distance between the nose and the chin, etc. You can find a good explanation of Phi in the book by Gyorgy Doczi called "The Power of Limits." You can find this on Amazon, or just go to my website product page and click on the book link.

This paper demonstrates a remarkable result, because it not only shows the holistic relationship between matter and energy in the universe, but it places life at the very center of the process. We are the interface between the micro and the macro! And it all fits together beautifully.

Haramein and Rauscher didn't plot the biological data point in the center of the graph, because it would freak out the mainstream physics community. Physics, apparently, is not yet ready to accept the idea of the fundamental unity of spirit and matter. When human consciousness finally reaches this awareness – and it is not far off – our societies will transform. We simply will no longer be able to fight each other when it becomes obvious that we should be cooperating with each other!kjmacleanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16522340092665493512noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34505699.post-8484066614807143772009-11-24T19:40:00.000-08:002009-11-24T19:46:57.367-08:00
"Health Care"

I have been around for 58 years, but I’ve rarely heard anything as stupid and as silly as the current debate over “health care.” Nobody asks the fundamental questions. We hear debates about the “public option,” privately-owned health care accounts, and waste and fraud in the current system, but nobody asks the question: “What IS health care?”

“Well,” you say, “it’s just what it says, stupid: health care…OK, it’s a way to ensure that you get the proper care when you get sick.”

But is it? These explanations all assume that “health care coverage” is about health. And it isn’t.
It’s about pharmaceutical drugs.

Look in the Physicians Desk Reference, and you’ll find literally hundreds of drugs listed. But any doctor will tell you that these drugs treat symptoms. There isn’t one drug in that entire huge book that cures anything, so far as I know. That’s why the medical profession is so insistent that alternative practitioners can’t claim a cure for any disease or health condition. They can’t cure anything, so they assume that you can’t either.

Orthodox, allopathic medicine has two tools in their “health” toolbox: drugs and invasive surgeries. That’s what is covered in these so-called government guaranteed plans for “health care” coverage. The current health care legislation before Congress is simply a political payback to Big Pharma, for the millions big drug companies have poured into the coffers of our (so-called) elected “representatives.” In most cases, your Congressman doesn’t represent you, he or she represents the people who contribute to their political campaigns. That’s what the party system has always been and probably always will be. That’s why Jefferson and many of our founding fathers warned us against the party system.

But back to health care. Medical doctors can’t cure anything. If you are given a drug, that drug will treat your symptoms, not the cause of those symptoms. Medical doctors are trained to believe –no, to know- that only a QUACK claims that he or she can cure anything. The FDA is simply an organization that promotes pharmaceutical drugs, and stomps on alternative medical practitioners. Don’t get me wrong, we DO need a watchdog agency to clamp down on charlatans. Of course, there ARE alternative medical quacks, probably lots of them. But if you are going to be paying for health care, shouldn’t you have a choice of practitioners? (And no, the government isn’t paying for it, YOU are paying for it! Our government is bankrupt, and additional coverage guaranteed by the government will be paid for by printing more and more money, resulting in higher and higher inflation).

There are also allopathic medical quacks as well. The entire FDA drug review process is suspect, and some claim that the studies are biased toward approving drugs that have cost drug companies billions to bring to market. The recall of drugs like Vioxx make it plain that the FDA approval process has serious flaws.

A TRUE health care bill would include coverage for tried and proven alternative health systems like Chinese medicine, acupuncture, herbology, reflexology, etc. These are systems that strive to ACTUALLY CURE your condition, not mask it so that you have to keep buying drugs. And a rational health care would also include coverage for proven new therapies such as Rife technology. Royal Raymond Rife, a brilliant American scientist, cured cancer back in 1934. A banquet was held in his honor back then, attended by prominent scientists and physicians in Southern California, called “The End to All Diseases.” I know a doctor (who shall remain nameless of course) who is getting cancer cure rates over 94% using Rife technology, as opposed to under 5% with chemo. And chemo costs a bundle, whereas Rife is much, much cheaper and safer.

A rational health care debate would first ask the question, “what is health care?” and define it. And then proceed from there. But of course, that cannot be done. For to ask that question would bring forth all sorts of unpleasant realities about the pharmaceutical industry and BOTH parties’ connection to it. It comes from the from the French denouer, 'to untie', and originally from the Latin nodus, 'a knot.' My old Webster's New College Dictionary also lists definition 3 as 'any final revelation or outcome.'

Events on planet earth are approaching a denouement. However, most of the action is in the plane of subtle energy. By this I mean the invisible vibrational milieu that surrounds us, and that cocoons all Form. The ancients referred to this as the aether, or the ether. The famous experiment by Mickelson and Morely in 1887 proved, for physicists, the absence of an ether that carried electromagnetic radiation (light); from this physical discovery Einstein later developed his Special and General Theories of Relativity, which stated(among other things) the light travels in a vacuum. The ether I am talking about, however, is far more subtle, and represents the invisible realm of consciousness, what my guidance calls "Native State.'

Physical events always follow and are programmed by what happens on this subtle but powerful vibrational plane of thought and intention. Physical matter and energy is a manifestation of the action of subtle energy, somewhat like an oil extract is a condensation from plants. Human DNA, and everything we see around us are vibrational in nature and seem solid because our physical senses are vibrationally tuned to them. When two vibrations match, perception is possible. This is explained fully in my book, "The Vibrational Universe," and especially in the Appendices to the book. It is also explained in my movie, "The Vibrational Universe."

To understand the approaching denouement of the human race, one must not be fooled by events happening on the physical plane. The insanity of grossly harmful deficit spending (at least in the United States), the growing power of governments all over the world, and the suppression of individual freedoms, are but a mere background phenomenon. What is driving the events we see on earth today is the increasing desire of humanity for permanent, positive change, and a greater recognition of, for want of a better way to say it, the individual divinity and connection to source energy. The divine, God, consciousness, spirituality, prana, chi, Ka; all these terms are expressions for the energy of consciousness itself. This energy plays a vital role in the events that unfold on earth. For millennia, humanity has been mired in a collection of adolescent and self-destructive belief systems. We all know what these old beliefs are, for we see them acted out upon the political and economic stages of our world, every day. Those who adhere to the old memes know only one way to behave, and that is within the old paradigm of thought. Their solutions to everything are hierarchical, where a few at the top control the masses at the bottom. The geometric nature of their beliefs is pyramidical, with a few at the top and everyone else at the bottom. However, these belief systems are self-defeating because they inherently constrict thought and action to a vibrationally lower set of activities that are rapidly becoming less and less effective. The movement of consciousness is toward greater cooperation and harmony, greater abundance and greater empowerment for individuals; which will ultimately result in the ability to form powerful groups that act naturally for the benefit of individuals, and—without conflict of any kind—also for the greater good.

The "greater goods" is a concept that has little meaning in the old paradigm of thought, which is based upon control from above. Power, in the old belief system, simply means control, and comes from an inner insecurity. Control means the denial of self -empowerment and the suppression of one's connection to source. This way of thinking and acting is rapidly becoming disempowered, for the simple reason that it is vibrationally inadequate to keep up with the rising vibration in human consciousness, This rising vibration is in turn reflected in the ethers, which have a direct (but as yet unknown to science) effect on the physical. I have talked about this extensively on the Interview With Spirit show; the rapid population growth represents the desire of the race for spiritual maturity. As the human population increases, there is a greater interaction between the individual energy fields of humans with the planetary field, and the "etheric substrate" itself. This is causing an increase in frequency within the species consciousness, which in turn is raising the background vibration of the planet as a whole. Therefore, those who operate on the basis of the old memes of hierarchy, control, greed, and problem resolution through conflict are finding themselves marooned on a desert island as the waters rise around them. Their sphere of action is becoming more and more limited, and in their fear, they react in adolescent, but predictable ways. In fact, these people are severely limited by their own belief systems, which are becoming, in the rising overall vibration, more and more unsupported.

There is nothing to fear from the upcoming 2012, for example. Ludicrous and silly movies like "2012" are the product of severely limited and disordered minds that have no understanding or connection to the new paradigm of thought that is rapidly being created, not only by "lightworkers" and others who understand their divine nature and their connection to source, but also by the great majority of human beings under the fat part of the Bell curve. People all over the planet are beginning to feel stirrings in the ethers, and are beginning to react positively.

The negativity we see is the result of those in "power" reacting in the only way they know how, but it is also due to the old beliefs of humanity rising to the surface from the muddy river bottom. These old beliefs are coming up for inspection and are being acted out on the physical stage. Vibrationally speaking, this phenomenon is natural and inevitable: when a lower vibrational cyst meets a higher vibration, the cyst becomes exposed as the dark environment surrounding it becomes sublimated.

This is what most people don't get: When you REALLY begin to change, all of your old thoughts and beliefs are exposed. If you resist these dark areas, you re-empower them. But if you can recognize them for hat they are – old thought forms that have been created by you, and have your energy signature upon them (that's why they are so recognizable and so terrifying; because you created them in a lower vibrational state!) – then they will disappear. That is because it is not possible to see something unless you have vibrational altitude in relation to it.

So events like draconian legislation passed in the United States, the Fort Hood incident, Congressional and governmental corruption on a planetary scale, the world economic crisis, all of these things are the physical expression of the old memes coming to the surface, demanding attention. They are the result of a RISING vibration, not a falling one!

Therefore, fear of something that we have created, and have been living for thousands of years, is just silly! When you have a mess in your house and look around, you may feel disgusted, but you shouldn't be fearful! You just dig in and clean up the yukky stuff. Funny, isn’t it, that just a few months ago that mess seemed entirely natural, and you didn't even notice it! But now, in your higher awareness, you realize that you have been living in a pig-sty. Well, that is what is happening with the human race recently. We are all, individually and as a species, approaching a denouement. We are coming to a recognition of our own polluted and sick belief systems, which have formed around our collective psyche's just like cysts in the body, and we are releasing them. But along the way, of course, we FEEL them and we EXPEIENCE them! That is what happens when you REALLY begin to change for the better.

The denouement represents the creation and the activation of a new set of beliefs that are much more consonant with who we are: divine, spiritual beings who have come to earth to raise an adolescent species to maturity, and create a new "golden age" 0f alignment with source.
ken

http://www.kjmaclean.com

http://www.sunrise-production.org

http://www.marketingwithspirit.com
kjmacleanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16522340092665493512noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34505699.post-45338347621964902132009-10-13T14:02:00.000-07:002009-10-13T14:04:59.308-07:00Toward A Science of Human Beliefs Is scarcity a law of nature, or something peculiar to planet earth? Observing nature, we see that species populations are regulated through predation, or when resources become scarce. Almost all species fight to maintain territory and secure food. In human societies, the prevalent mode of problem-solving is to war upon other groups to secure scarce resources, such as oil. The system, and nature itself, seems to be set up for a zero sum game. Scarcity – of energy, of food, of water, of medical treatment, and a host of other resources, seems to be an underlying principle for the human race. Is this natural? It obviously is on earth. But what if the scarcity we observe all around us is merely a result of our own belief systems, and not a law of nature? The human race’s total immersion in our own belief systems – a form of blindness -- even leads us to conclude that earth is the only planet in the universe with intelligent life. We assume that if there is life on other planets, it will have evolved in a similar fashion to earth, and have similar belief systems. Like adolescents (or monkeys who hold their hands in front of their faces) we project our consciousness onto the rest of existence. The human view of the universe, I would argue, is as parochial as the small-town hick who comes to the Big City (and soon finds his narrow worldview overset). It is as parochial as the squirrel who chitters on the tree and sees himself as the center of the universe, and, in his limited understanding, thinks that he knows all there is to know. Our narrow view of life also applies to the human view of the race itself. And the way humanity views itself is vitally important in determining our evolution. Scarcity (or any limiting concept), I would argue, is a state of mind. A military man sees the world in terms of armed camps, and the only reasonable method of gaining resources or power is through armed conflict. Thought and belief determine action, yet the importance of thought and belief in determining the direction of our species is ignored. We all, obviously, see the world through the filter of our own belief systems. It is apparent that through 5,000 years of history, humankind has created a consciousness that resonates to the idea that there is only so much to go around. This has led to a “have and have not” mentality, which creates hierarchical societies shaped like pyramids, with a few at the top who make decisions for the rest of us. It has also led to a science that believes in the inefficient and forcible extraction of energy from the explosion of fossil fuels. Such a belief is perfectly consonant with a consciousness of scarcity. Democracy is an attempt by mankind to organize itself based around the idea of liberty and equality for all. However, practically, democracies have evidently devolved back to the old ideas of scarcity, which results in favoritism and aggrandizement of resources into the hands of a few (banks and corporate interests) to which the government shows undue favor. Throughout history our societies, even though they may have experienced golden ages, have eventually devolved back to the same set of limiting beliefs, and have imploded. This argues that mankind has created a consciousness mired in limiting and destructive beliefs. If your thoughts resonate to scarcity, you will create societies that resonate to scarcity and that reflect the belief in scarcity: greed, poverty, injustice, control from above, problem resolution through argumentation and conflict, and all of the ills we observe in human organizations. And, of course, they will eventually fail. In all cases, what is manifested in our societies comes forth from the set of beliefs held by the population as a whole. If you believe in the idea that there is only so much to go around, your political structures and your economies get set up that way. Not only that, but your science also gets set up that way. Science has become the new religion of our materialistic culture. Science is so complicated that only a minuscule fraction of the population can understand the complex mathematics that science uses as its language. Therefore, scientific pronouncements go largely unchallenged. But the accepted scientific paradigm is based upon the same set of limiting beliefs that form the whole of our human consciousness. Science is not exempt from the strictures of belief! And these beliefs are wholly uninspected. Only maverick scientists, in this setup, have the credibility necessary to challenge the religion of science. But their voices are drowned within the mainstream. For example, plasma physicists challenge the idea that the sun is a hydrogen-helium fusion reactor. They state that the fundamental state of matter is a plasma, a gas composed of charged particles that exists throughout the universe. The plasma theory leads to a whole new way of looking at matter and energy, but it is largely ignored by the mainstream. In plasma physics, for instance, black holes are completely unnecessary, for black holes evolved as a necessity from gravitational theory. The point is that mainstream science is the ultimate authority figure, but science itself is mired in the same consciousness of scarcity and limitation that affects the entire race. Is scarcity a law of nature? Or is it merely a result of the collectively held and agreed upon set of human beliefs? I would argue the latter. Because science believes in the idea that consciousness is biologically based, the importance of thought in shaping our world is ignored. After all, what is a thought? Merely an adjunct to the firing of neurons in the brain. In this view, human beings are biological automatons, and our beliefs are largely the product of our environment, and the chemical structure of the brain (which is why our medical establishment is largely based on the idea of drugging the patient). This can be summed up by the sentence: “what you see is what you get.” Matter and energy are all-important, and thought is a mere by-product of biological processes. In this view, human evolution and human nature is merely ad hoc to the rigid laws that govern the interaction of matter and energy, and which lead inevitably to largely unchanging conditions throughout time. In other words, we observe that almost every civilization that has ever existed on earth has risen and then fallen, and we assume that “rise and fall” is a law of human behavior. But perhaps this phenomenon actualizes from the matrix of human beliefs! Like biological robots, in other words, we think and act in the same ways, generation to generation. Has anyone ever tried to compile a list of widely-held human beliefs? If this were ever done, I am sure that this matrix would correspond precisely to the conditions that exist on our planet. (What is the belief system of the Hindu civilization that has allowed it to exist uninterrupted for 5,000 years?) It is time for a new science of belief systems, based on the simple but powerful idea that thought precedes and dictates action. This puts the cart before the horse, and places consciousness in its correct relationship to biology, matter, and energy. We believe that gravity only works one way, for example, as an attractive force, and we do not even consider that a counterpart – a repulsive force – may exist. Because our belief systems do not allow for something outside the accepted norm, we do not consider – or investigate – anti-gravity. We see, in the middle of the Egyptian desert, a carved sculpture from one single piece of stone that weighs over 100 tons, and we simply ignore it, because to carve and transport such an object is beyond the scope of our current technology (and it also violates the cherished belief that our ancestors were ignorant savages, and that our modern mechanical society must therefore rest at the top of the evolutionary pyramid). At the base of the Sphinx are cut blocks of stone over 50 tons in weight! If someone were to suggest that our so-called primitive ancestors had access to anti-gravity, or some technology in advance of our present knowledge, that person is simply regarded as a kook. Egyptologists proclaim that no pyramid is over 6,000 years old, even though scientific evidence shows pyramids much older than that. In order to get a degree in Egyptology, however, one must parrot back this line of nonsense. That is because, in Islam (Egypt is an Islamic country) the world was created 6,000 years ago. Here is an example of religious beliefs – total absurdities -- infecting the belief systems of otherwise intelligent persons. When a group of people operate from a certain set of beliefs, it is impossible to be aware of anything outside the box of those beliefs. Humankind has imprisoned itself in a set of limiting beliefs. But what are they? This is a vital question that has never been seriously researched. We believe that it is impossible to solve problems without eventually resorting to conflict, because resources are scarce. We believe that cancer is an incurable disease. We believe that human nature is primitive, and that civilization is but a thin veneer over an inherently barbaric, instinctive nature. We believe that energy must be extracted from fossil fuels, and that it is impossible to create overunity devices that extract energy from the vacuum. In short, we believe that what goes up, must come down. And that is how we create our lives. We apply limiting concepts not only to our conception of gravity (and science in general), but also to human relationships and our political and economic structures. I ask, you, what would a planetary society look like, that believed in this way? Precisely what we have created on earth: a fragmented planet divided into artificial nation-states that fight each other for scarce resources. Is this any way to run a planet? I think not. There are no “laws” of human nature, or of science, that we have not ourselves created. When we embrace new beliefs, we will also become aware of new ways of looking at the universe. Our limited scientific concepts will expand, as well our view of ourselves and what we are capable of. Perhaps we may even learn how to carve and transport 100 ton blocks of stone across the desert, just as our primitive ancestors evidently were able to do! Perhaps we may learn how to cure cancer, discover a way to extract energy from the vacuum, develop clean, alternative energy sources and, most important of all, learn how to cooperate with each other on a planetary basis to create abundance and prosperity for all. What is holding us back? Our own, largely uninspected, belief systems. When we allow “tradition” to bind us to old concepts that are no longer serving us, we experience the same old problems. We get into a rut that then manifests itself in similar experiences, and we then proclaim “laws” of nature and “laws” of human behavior. And of course, when something has gained such strong acceptance, it becomes even more firmly entrenched in our belief systems, perpetuating the cycle of stupidity. (The cycle of stupidity as in the war on cancer, terrorism, poverty, etc. all of which only lead to a perpetuation of the unwanted thing). Until we learn to accept change and break out of the box of our pathetically limited belief systems, the 21st century is going to look a lot like the 20th. And that would be a shame, because humanity has an unlimited potential. That potential is sitting right in front of us. We are like the dog and the invisible fence, believing that to change would result in some sort of unpleasant shock. But a belief in abundance, prosperity, and cooperation is just a collective thought away! It is time to launch a science of beliefs. It is time to dispose of widely-held, ludicrous, and limiting concepts of humanity. Let us expand our conception of who we are! Let us assume first that human beings are not biological robots, and that we can change what we think and believe about ourselves. A science of belief would look, not as Jung did, at the “collective unconscious,” but the collective consciousness. We would start by compiling a matrix of the widely-held and agreed upon beliefs of humanity. Are their common denominator beliefs that all human beings hold, cross-culture? Is there a relationship between human belief systems and the actions we take? If so, what is that relationship? What beliefs are particularly insidious or destructive? In academic circles, this entire discussion would seem ludicrous. As Eldon Taylor, author of “Mind Programming” says, “…a hotly debated issue among many academics today is essentially an argument for the absence of free will. There are many reasons for this. In recent years, numerous studies have demonstrated that the conscious mind only thinks it’s in charge. In fact, it appears that the subconscious is making decisions and the conscious mind is making up stories to explain those decisions…. Within the halls of academia today is strong support for the idea that humans are no more than ‘meat machines’—biological mechanisms programmed to behave in certain ways.” In this view of the species, a human being is nothing more than a stimulus-response mechanism; a mindless animal who can never rise above the impulses hidden away in the subconscious mind, and a slave to his or her own chemistry. How can the human race ever advance itself under the influence of this belief system? The answer is, it cannot. Individuals, in this view, will always be slaves. Therefore, if we actually want peace and prosperity for the human race, if we want to elevate the human condition, we will have to find another set of beliefs: beliefs that come from our higher, conscious selves, not the baser, hidden impulses of the subconscious, or environmental stimuli that have already been created from a world borne from this primitive and degrading set of assumptions. We need to create a new belief system for the human race: consciously and mindfully, and inspect the belief systems we already operate under. What do I mean by a belief? A belief is a collection of thoughts that one consciously acts upon. 99% of the decisions we make in life are made consciously. You want to change jobs so you submit your resume and interview, you decide to lose weight so you work out four times per week, etc. Let’s leave the subconscious to abnormal psychology and other professionals who deal with deviant behavior. A science of belief assumes two things: that human beings are conscious and capable of directing their lives, and that action follows thought. A set of actions may become ingrained or routine and may become automatic (and no longer consciously inspected, which would make them subconscious), but the genesis of any habitual pattern of behavior is always a conscious decision. You may become irritated with a co-worker and respond to him angrily, and continue to do so, which will lead to a habitual response. But the genesis of that response was a conscious choice. And you always have the conscious choice to alter your attitude and your behavior. Defense lawyers use the subconscious to excuse criminal behavior, using the defense of “temporary insanity,” and sometimes win their case. The human-as-meat-machine idea assumes that a human being is insane for the majority of their waking lives. Clearly, such an assumption is itself insane. We can and must do a lot better than that! To discover a belief just requires a little mindfulness, and the assumption that you are not a mindless biological robot, responding to stimuli from the environment. When you decided to yell at your co-worker, what motivated you to do so? “Well, he insulted me so I gave it right back.” What belief were you operating under? After a little thought you say, “I was taught that when someone hurts you, you have to hurt him back or you will be regarded as weak.” It’s readily accessible thought structures just like that which cause 99% of the actions on our planet, both bad and good. What would happen if we were to create a catalog of these beliefs, so that people could study them? We’d probably end up with a population that was a lot more mindful! We need to map the genome of human thought, just as we mapped human DNA. Once we have that map, we can look at the structure of human belief systems and change them for the better. An inspection of my own belief systems led to this (very abbreviated) catalog: “I have to work hard for everything I get” “Money is scarce and when you get some, you’d better hold onto it” “I’m not going to let anyone walk over me” “It’s easier to lie than to tell the truth” etc. etc. If you make a catalog of your own beliefs, you are likely to discover some real doozies! Many of these beliefs are simply irrational. But they are floating around in the collective consciousness of the human species, and are being acted upon every day. The human race has been operating from a completely uninspected set of beliefs that have been driving the course of human civilization – erratically – for 5,000 years. It is time for us to grow up and mature as a species, to stop fighting each other, and to put away our adolescence. The only way we can do that is to consciously compile and inspect the belief systems that we, as a species, are operating from. Unless we do so, we will continue to run around in the dark. Those who live mindfully are in control of their lives, and live much more happily and successfully. Those who do not drift aimlessly, just as the human race has done since the last ice age. In 1917, he was elected head of the newly created Soviet State in Russia after the February Russian revolution. One of the first things he did was establish the secret police (euphemistically referred to as the “state security organization”), the cheka, which later evolved under Stalin into the NKVD, under the notorious criminal Lavrenti Beria.

The Soviet state was based upon guile and duplicity, controlled by what are now known as “intelligence” organizations, and supported by a ruthless state security apparatus.. To this day, one of the most feared intelligence services in all the world is the Russian GRU (Military Intelligence). The current Russian President, according to intelligence analyst Christopher Story, is himself GRU, which means that he is an intelligence agent masquerading as the Russian president.

To make a long story short, Lenin organized the Soviet state so that a small elite could control the entire country. He did so by building a strong Interior department with a large military force that was used to crush dissent within Russia. The organization of the Soviet State applied the concept of “dialectical materialism” in which one part of the government could be used to stymie the actions of another department.

Lenin (and his successor, Stalin) created a Communist Party system that mirrored the departments in the Soviet government, so that a complainant might go to the relevant government department, only to be told that he must check with the mirror Party structure. In this way, confusion and obfuscation was created, which served two purposes: it created chaos, unpredictability, and confusion, which allowed a very small group at the top to exercise power over the population (and the eventual collapse of the Soviet state, for that is always the outcome of obfuscation and chaos); and two, this system allowed those at the top to avoid the Rule of Law and play the game by their own rules.

In America at the present time, we also have Leninist structures in place. These structures are contained within the vast Intelligence complex. In 1947, President Harry Truman signed the National Security Act of 1947 that formally created the Central Intelligence Agency and its spin-offs; and in 1952, the super-secret National Security Agency, which is the mirror of the Soviet Interior department, responsible for keeping domestic “order.” Many people think that our intelligence services only operate abroad, to defeat terrorism and protect the United States from attack. This is not so! The NSA was set up specifically to spy on American citizens and monitor domestic activity.

Furthermore, a series of National Security Council Directives since 1947 has essentially created hidden structures which have carte blanche to conduct assassinations, overthrow governments, engage in blackmail and other “covert” operations, all under cover of “national security.”

On the organization chart, the Intelligence structures are contained within the Executive Branch, but the reality of the past 30 years or so is that the Intelligence structures are above the government, and have a very powerful (and unhealthy) influence on government policy. We have seen, in the Bush II administration, how the President issued Executive Orders that simply blocked Executive Branch agencies from implementing Congressional legislation. This is just one example of the unhealthy influence of these hidden structures on the democratic process. We know of many instances where the CIA simply lied to Congress and its Intelligence Oversight committees. It turns out that the Gulf of Tonkin Incident which began the Vietnam war, was a fantasy. It never happened!

(http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.c ... GN521.DTLo)

Yet tens of thousands of American soldiers died in that war, not to mention tens of thousands of Vietnamese. How many Americans even know this, or care?

In fact, in the United States today, the Vice President is more powerful than the President. The President has essentially become a figurehead.

The Vice-President heads the National Security Council, which issues secret directives and exerts an unhealthy influence on the President and the Executive branch of government. In the Bush II administration, we had a President who could barely speak coherently. The real power behind the throne was Vice President Cheney, who was in direct contact with the Intelligence structures. The situation has continued under President Obama. Vice President Biden, chairman of the National Security Council, is more powerful than the President when it comes to making crucial decisions. Obama gets all the publicity and he makes all the speeches, just like George W. Bush, but his power is limited.

Our democracy is being undermined and usurped by the secret Intelligence structures.

William Casey former head of the CIA, said this in 1981, at his first staff meeting: “We will know when our disinformation program is a success when everything the American people believe is false.” (quoted by Christopher Story at worldreports.org). Does this sound fantastical?
Well, the unhealthy and covert intelligence influence has led to a breakdown in the Rule of Law not only in government, but also in finance and banking. It is a cancer that must be excised before it becomes malignant.

Here is a startling fact:

On July 21st, Neil Barofsky, the Congressionally appointed Special Inspector General looking into the TARP program (Troubled Assets Relief Program) stated that the Federal government has committed $23.7 TRILLION in guarantees to TARP, which means, essentially, the banks. That’s $23.7 TRILLION, not billion. That’s twice the size of the accumulated federal deficit. It’s twice the GDP of the United States. In his report on TARP to the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, Barofsky stated that "Although Treasury has taken some steps toward improving transparency in TARP programs, it has repeatedly failed to adopt recommendations that SIGTARP believes are essential to providing basic transparency and fulfill Treasury's stated commitment to implement TARP with the highest degree of accountability and transparency possible." (Barofsky is called SIGTARP).
Sources:
http://abcnews.go.com/Business/Politics ... 005&page=1
http://www.sigtarp.gov/987egapograbme12 ... Well, it did make headlines in the “Money” section of ABC News, but not on the front page where it certainly belongs.

Where is this $23.7 trillion in guarantees going? To prop up the overvaluied derivatives sector, which has been created by the banks. Essentially, banks have created exotic financial products like Credit Default Swaps (CDS’s), Collateralized Debt Obligations (CDOs) and Mortgage Backed Securities, whose actual market value is a fraction of their stated value. The TARP program is, essentially, an effort by the U.S. Treasury to borrow and print literally trillions of dollars to continue a financial fantasy. It’s nutty! The U.S. Treasury insists that these grossly overvalued “structured products” be valued at their bloated face-value (the value that the banks claim they are worth) rather than at market value. What we have here is a complete lack of honesty and transparency. Sort of reminds you of...er...the Soviet Union, doesn’t it? In the Soviet Union, the Intelligence structures had complete control of government and finance.

You can just hear people screaming: “But America is the strongest country in the world!!” It certainly used to be, anyway. Now, the United States is bankrupt. Our government and our central bank – the Federal reserve -- simply will not admit it.

The only reason our economy has not collapsed and our government defaulted on its debts is that the dollar has been the linchpin world currency since the Bretton Woods agreement in 1944. Everyone is holding dollars, so everyone is involved. When we devalue our currency, everyone’s dollar-denominated investments are adversely affected. It’s like the old saying, “If I owe you $100, you’ve got me, but if I owe you $1,000,000, I’ve got you.” Those who hold dollar-denominated investments can’t afford to attack the United States financially, even when we recklessly destroy our own currency. The rest of the world is in the same boat as the United States, but we are at the helm, and not doing a good job of keeping the financial Ship of State afloat. Our planetary boat is leaking and we are all sinking!

What are our elected representatives in Congress doing about this mess? That is something each and every one of us must ask them.

Our government has been slowly penetrated, ladies and gentlemen, by the Intelligence power. And because the Intelligence structures are secret and hidden, it is impossible to properly monitor them. We need to open the Pandora’s Box of the Intelligence structures and let the light shine into the darkness.

A democracy doesn’t need secret, covert agencies that have the ability to commit acts that would be considered criminal in a court of law. That’s why there are separate Intelligence Courts and judges. These structures are justified on the basis of “national security.” Their proceedings are secret – of course they are secret – if the American public knew what was going on in the name of their democracy, we would all be shocked.

In essence, the Intelligence community is allowed to commit criminal acts in the name of “national security.” This is completely unacceptable. Lies lead to more lies, and weaken anyone or any organization that practices deceit. (See my blog post "Is Honesty Really the Best Policy?") Truth and openness comes from strength, covertness and secrecy is weakness. Those who insist on “national security” do so because they are covering up criminal activity. It’s just as simple as that.

It’s time to blow the lid off the CIA and the entire hidden labyrinth of the Intelligence structures, before we totally lose our democracy. It’s time to audit the Federal Reserve. It’s time to restore honest money and honest finance in America! This cannot happen unless the people demand it. But we have to be smart about this. Protesting and fighting in the streets is just stupid; it’s been tried, and it doesn’t work. Resisting anything just places your attention on it and makes it more powerful.

Do you want to make a difference? Go to DownsizeDC.org and sign up. I believe that on planet earth at this time, the reality is just the opposite of what is thought.

In the matrix, a dominating power controls what people think and what they experience. Because planet earth has hierarchical societies that seem to grant power to a few elites and leave the vast majority at the bottom, it would appear that the powerful actors on the world stage, mainly in government and finance, have that power. In my study of intelligence and economic and political matters, it would appear that the world’s intelligence services, linked with organized (and unorganized!) crime, have usurped the authority that once belonged to our representatives in Congress (or Parliament) and our Presidents. A look at the current world financial crisis shows that powerful bankers, backed by political authority, have used “creative financing” to undermine the integrity of world currencies by ignoring sound banking practices. And the “solutions” that have been devised seem to benefit not the people, but the bankers and their regulators who created the problem in the first place.

A cursory look around planet earth shows a stubborn and powerful elite who control politics and finance, while the rest of us suffer.

But I would like to offer a different take.

What is really happening is that the actors who appear to have power are creating conditions that will destroy them.

In the United States, citizens are becoming more and more fed up with government intervention in the economy – bailouts of incompetent bankers, corporations and insurance companies costing hundreds of billions of dollars, irresponsible deficit spending (the 2009 fiscal year deficit ion the US will be around $1.7 trillion) and a Congress that won’t even read the bills it passes. The trillion-dollar health care bill was brought to the House floor and voted on before the bill was even passed. House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer laughed when it was suggested that representatives actually read and understand the bills they vote on, as I remarked in a previous post. All of this (and plenty more) have made people in the United States realize that their Congress is nothing more than a rubber-stamp for special interests. There is still a lot of good feeling for President Obama, but he seems to be conducting business as usual in Iraq, Afghanistan, and in the critical areas of government spending. Nothing has changed, really. Except that the government now owns a majority interest in General Motors and Chrysler. Does this remind you of communist Russia and communist China? A top-down system of control? Well, it should!

Anyway, what is happening is that government is attempting to aggrandize power to itself. Government decisions are made by a small elite: 535 members ofCcongress and a small coterie of decision-makers in the Executive branch, which includes the national security establishment.

Of course a small elite cannot make decisions for 320 million people without the entire system blowing up, simply because the dynamics of an entire nation making individual decisions creates a complex matrix of interaction that cannot be modeled. Not even a city full of the fastest supercomputers could model such a system, because we simply don’t have the knowledge to do so. A nation’s economy and social organization is an immense, sophisticated matrix that is dynamically changing in every moment. For any group of people - even the most brilliant and distinguished scientists – to think they can create a successful framework of action-response is simply ludicrous. But that is precisely what the government of the United States (and other world governments) are trying to do. Such an effort will fail; it is as simple as that. Imagine a nation as a vast neural network with 320 million nodes and billions of filaments, representing decisions and actions of individuals. Now imagine trying to control or guide that system from above. All of the billions of information lines have to be crowded into just a few cables that lead to the top.

This system is merely a “one-size-fits-all” design that will be about as successful as trying to herd cats.

When America was at its strongest, we had a limited government and a vital private sector, a strong educational system, and a political system that was much more responsive to the needs of constituents. What we have now is a facade; a constricted system that shows a false front of democracy but is actually a cleverly designed matrix to keep incumbents in power by denying access to third parties, and to support a small number of powerful corporations. Such a system cannot long survive, for it attempts to deny power to the majority who actually have the power. Such a system can survive only as long as we, the people, continue to sleepwalk.

If you know my work, you know that I am a firm proponent of the vibrational universe concept, which says that the universe is a dynamically interacting environment where individuals have power and that the universe responds to each person by matching the current focus of attention. What is happening on the world stage is simply that we, the people, have agreed upon a set of beliefs that allow the current shenanigans to continue. All of the actors on the world stage are utterly dependent upon what we, the people, collectively agree upon. If that sounds fantastical, then you are probably one of those people who believe that you can’t fight city hall, that there is nothing anyone can do about the world situation, and so we should just give up, sit back and go with the flow. Well, going with the flow will simply continue along a course that will result in a collapse of the world economy.

What is happening “underneath” the Matrix we live in, is a rising consciousness, a rising awareness that a human being is more than a bunch of firing neurons and protoplasm. This one meme – the idea that consciousness is biologically based – is the primary, underlying meme that is at the root of the present world situation. But more and more people are “waking up” to an understanding that they are much more powerful than they have been led to believe. A nation or a planet CAN be controlled when it’s inhabitants are mere biological automatons who believe in their own unworthiness, which leads directly to the “follow the leader” mentality and hierarchical control from above.

However, as individuals discover more about ourselves, the present system will become more and more untenable. It IS becoming more and more untenable, is it not? It is coming apart at the seams! This is a good thing, for we have the power to guide the future of humanity without resistance, without protesting in the streets. As I have remarked before, submission and protest simply resonate to that which is being protested, and perpetuates the very thing that is being resisted, This is the powerful universal principle that the Old Order has used to corral thought and behavior for 5,000 years. But people are finally wising-up!

We CAN evolve to a new paradigm of thought without the collapse of the old system. We can evolve smoothly to a new set of beliefs based not on the irrationality of war, conflict, domination and hierarchy, but one that is more consonant with our spiritual origins. When enough of us wake up to the idea that we are powerful spiritual beings having a physical experience –which is just as obvious as saying “2 = 2 = 4,” the human race will reach a tipping point in consciousness and what has been hidden will all come out.

And when that happens, there will be such a shock to the system as the Light of truth exposes the seamy underbelly of the old paradigm, that we will be able to change the political and economic structures on our planet in a very short time.

Ladies and gentlemen, we are approaching that dénouement as you read this. And you and I are a part of it! As more and more of us shift our belief systems, it will become more and more impossible for the so-called “powerful elite” to continue in the old top-down patterns.

The powerful neural network that we the people of earth are creating, will constrain and guide the actions of those on the world stage. In fact, these people will be seen to have less and less power and influence as individuals step into their personal power.kjmacleanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16522340092665493512noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34505699.post-33700524544326924232009-06-09T13:16:00.001-07:002009-06-09T13:17:49.794-07:00Fiscal Insanity

"By a continuing process of inflation, governments can confiscate, secretly and unobserved, an important part of the wealth of their citizens. There is no subtler, no surer means of overturning the existing basis of society than to debauch the currency. The process engages all the hidden forces of economic law on the side of destruction, and does it in a manner which not one man in a million is able to diagnose."
-- John Maynard Keynes, from The Economic Consequences Of The Peace

The government of the United States is inflating the money supply at an unheard-of rate, in order to “solve” the financial crisis which it was influential in creating:
http://research.stlouisfed.org/fred2/data/BOGUMBNS.txt.

Look at the figures from the Saint Louis Federal Reserve Bank. In August 2008, the money supply was at $847.288 billion.

Nine short months later, it is now at $1,774.672 billion!

The government has doubled the money supply in just the past nine months! And you wonder why prices are rising? The Geithner Treasury plans on $2 TRILLION dollar budget deficits for the remainder of his term. What will happen to the money supply? It will balloon out of control, despite the laughable Federal Reserve promise to “withdraw” that money from circulation. Because of the fractional reserve banking system, every dollar issued creates nine more dollars. What will happen to inflation? It will go out the roof.

Why is the US government so set on printing money and turning the US dollar into monopoly money? It’s their insane solution to the derivatives crisis, which is at the heart of the world financial crisis.

When governments become bigger, they borrow and print more money to fund their new programs. This increases the money supply, which causes inflation. Inflation is nothing more than too much money chasing too little goods and services. The only legitimate way for a government to get money is through the taxation of the wealth-creating “private” sector. (The public sector is usually called the governmental area and the private sector is usually called the wealth creating part of the economy, but these two are misnamed. The wealth creating public sector is the arena of 320 million people, all making free will economic choices. The government sector is usually controlled by a very small private elite, who set policies for the benefit of special interests, who in turn fund the political campaigns of elected representatives).

The government sector of the economy creates debt. The “private” sector creates wealth. Therefore, the growth of government is always accompanied by increasing debt and a devaluing of the currency. When government gets too large, it shrinks the wealth creating sector of the economy by siphoning money into government programs, which then makes it necessary to raise more taxes, which further shrinks the private sector. It’s a vicious circle. Every tax dollar the government gets takes money out of your pocket and hands it to a bureaucrat who thinks he knows better than you how to spend your money.

Politicians throughout history have discovered a way around the unpopularity of taxation: the printing of money. The printing of money to find government programs has been going on for millennia, but it was legitimized in economics through the creation of the term “stimulus.” It is true that the printing of money, AT FIRST, creates an economic stimulus, as people have more in their pockets. But eventually, prices rise. This is very simple, friends: when the supply of money is too low relative to the amount of goods and services produced in the economy, prices fall. When the amount of money is too high, prices rise.

How can the printing of money solve the financial crisis? The answer is, it can’t. But the dummies in Washington think it can, apparently.

As of December 2008, according to the Bank for International Settlements (http://www.bis.org/statistics/otcder/dt1920a.pdf), the world’s banks are holding derivatives (financial instruments based on, or derived from, actual assets like mortgages, stocks, and bonds) valued at over $591.963 trillion dollars. The underlying market value of these assets is a mere $33.889 trillion!

This is actually an improvement from June 2008 when the figures were $683.726 trillion in outstanding derivatives contracts, based upon $20.363 trillion in assets! Here is the world financial crisis on a nutshell: a grossly over-extended derivatives sector, where nominal (stated) values of financial products bear no resemblance to their actual values.

An example of a derivative is a mortgage backed security:
(See http://www.riskglossary.com/link/mortga ... curity.htm).

In order to understand the world financial crisis you have to understand the process of securitization.

A security is a collection of assets, packaged and sold to third parties. A mortgage, for example, is an asset because the mortgage holder receives the monthly payment of principal plus interest from the mortgagee. Securities banks can make money because securitization allows the bank to simply package and sell financial products, like mortgages, and collect a fee. In a mortgage pass-through security, for example, the investors receive the mortgage payments, and the originating bank collects a servicing fee. The originating bank can also sell the right to service these mortgages to a third party.

So, for instance, a bank could package up a bunch of mortgages and sell them to a third party (a private investor or another bank) and collect their fee. A bank could do this many, many times, buying mortgages and re-selling them, creating their own structured products (a structured product is a collection of assets or other securities), and/or buying structured products from other banks. Mortgages can become so sliced and diced that an investor (or even the issuing bank) cannot trace the actual mortgages upon which the mortgage backed security is based. This is how financial markets can grow out of control, like a cancer.

Over the past few years, banks have created markets based upon a number of assets (not just mortgages), but have had little incentive to identify the assets or their value. This occurred because the Fed did not monitor the dollar carefully enough, and the government relaxed regulation of the financial markets. Guess who was head of the Federal Bank of New York (the most powerful of the Federal Reserve banks) during this period? None other than our tax- evading Treasury Secretary, Timothy Geithner.

Properly valuing a financial instrument is called marking to market. A mortgage backed security, for example (lets call it BBMBW – Billy-Bob’s Mortgage Blueprint for Wealth), if it were periodically marked to market by the originating bank, would trace back all of the assets upon which it was based, assess the value of each mortgage, and come up with a present-time market value for the product. How many of the BBMBW mortgages, for example, are now in default? If 10% of the mortgagees are no longer paying, the investor’s cash flow decreases, and his investment decreases in value. Marking to market is not only honest, but it’s just common sense.

The Madoff scandal is just one of many examples of greedy and dishonest private financiers fleecing their clients. But Bernie Madoff is small potatoes compared to the gigantic rip-off now being perpetrated by the United States government on the American people, and international investors holding dollar denominated investments.

In 1999, Congress passed the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, which destroyed the firewall between commercial (deposit) banks and securities banks, and led to the sub-prime mortgage crisis. GLBA allowed commercial banks to engage in the securities process. Now, instead of a bank making money primarily from loans – in which it had to verify the status of the borrower and make sure he or she was qualified for a mortgage – a commercial bank could now engage in the creation of its own mortgage backed securities products. Before, a bank couldn’t make money unless it had made a solid loan; otherwise, if the borrower defaulted, it had to write off the loan as non-performing and put it in the liabilities section of its balance sheet. In the U.S., banks sent “mortgage brokers” - a fancy name for salesmen – out to every Tom Dick and Harry and created a market in “sub-prime” mortgages, which encouraged persons who couldn’t afford a mortgage (or a bigger mortgage) to take the plunge.

Since many of these mortgages were government guaranteed, through quasi-governmental agencies like the Federal National Mortgage Association (Fannie Mae), the Government National Mortgage Association (Ginnie Mac) and the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (Freddie Mac), these agencies also became overwhelmed with debt. Amazingly, even though the federal government guarantees the mortgages of these organizations, their debt does not show up on the government’s balance sheet! This is just another example of governmental incompetence and stupidity, which we, the people, will pay for through the inflation tax and a crippled economy.

What is the Geithner Treasury’s solution to the financial crisis? I talked about this in an earlier post: TALF: Term Asset Backed Loan Facility. How do you spell TALF?
S-C-A-M.

Instead of honestly valuing bank assets to market, the government’s solution is to “buy back” these overvalued assets at their nominal values, thus creating a mountain of new debt. The plan is for the government to find buyers for these toxic assets, by guaranteeing the risk an investor would take in acquiring them. That is why the Obama administration plans on creating over 8 trillion more dollars of new debt in the next 4 years.

This plan is financially insane. You cannot solve a financial crisis by simply printing more money. But try telling that to our so-called “representatives” in Congress, and to the President.

A further expansion of government influence into health care will cost trillions more. Ask the state of Massachusetts how they’re doing with their full coverage, government-run health care system. http://www.cato-at-liberty.org/2009/06/ ... re-reform/.

Massachusetts politicians promised that the insurance mandate would reduce medical costs. They also estimated that health insurance premiums could drop by 25-40%. Instead, premiums rose by 7.4% in 2007, 8-12% in 2008, and are expected to rise 9% in 2009.

The new government guaranteed health care plans are nothing more than a transfer of wealth to pharmaceutical companies. “Health care,” of course, means allopathic medicine: prescription drugs and surgeries. When every American is required to have health care, the big drug companies will make out like bandits. The United States is already a nation of prescription drug addicts: what will happen when full coverage for every man, woman, and child is mandated? Moreover, I guarantee you that when Congress gets through writing these bills – or should I say, when special interest lobbyists get through writing them -- alternative health care will not be covered, or will have very little coverage. Just like the Department of Energy spends 95% of its budget on fossil fuels and nuclear energy, while alternative, cleaner, and more abundant energy research gets short shrift.

This is what happens when a nation allows its government to grow too large.

Collectivism, under any guise (socialism, capitalism, communism, or any of the “isms,”) takes away the power of the people and gives it to a small elite in government. It is time for the American people to wake up to what is happening in the United States: a massive transfer of wealth and power into the hands of an incompetent and corrupted government.

Isn’t it time we began to think for ourselves? When are we going to step into our power as individuals and abandon the “follow-the leader” paradigm? Until we do, our society will become more and more hierarchical, with more and more power at the top.

As a final note, here’s something funny and tragic: an article in the stupid, asinine propaganda rag of the old Soviet Union, Pravada (which means “truth” in Russian, ha-ha, what a joke) about the decline of American society and economy. It’s pretty bad when Marxists and Communists call us out!
http://english.pravda.ru/opinion/columnists/107459-0/

Next week: the source of governmental corruption: the “national security” establishment.
__________________________
Kenneth James Michael MacLean
http://www.kjmaclean.com
http://www.sunrise-production.org
http://www.marketingwithspirit.comkjmacleanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16522340092665493512noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34505699.post-41106988389798301002009-04-24T07:38:00.000-07:002009-04-24T07:44:57.355-07:00Is Honesty Really the Best Policy?

Is honesty better than guile and subterfuge?

Many people would say that subterfuge is better, because it’s a lot more clever. Here’s how the argument goes:

“You don’t give away your game plan so everyone can see it, do you? If you do, you are a fool, because now everyone knows what you are doing, and your secret to success can be duplicated by everybody, taking away from your profits. What good is that? Would you rather be Microsoft or Mozilla? Who do you think has a better life, the fools who work for a non-profit, or filthy rich Bill Gates? Only simpletons and fools are honest and open.”

That’s the logic of planet earth, anyway.

But of course on planet earth, we live in hierarchical societies where a few have a lot of power, and the “masses” have very little. We live in an environment where knowledge of clean energy exists, but is not implemented. We live on a planet where millions of people continue to die unnecessarily from the disease of cancer - a condition that was cured back in 1931. We live on a planet, to summarize the words of Alexis de Tocqueville, where governments bribe the people with money taken out of their own pockets. What can we in the United States do about a corrupt Congress which passes legislation that benefits only a few special interests? Not a hell of a lot – other than every four years, vote for another Democrat or Republican who will do the same thing.

This is the kind of helpless situation you get into when you believe that guile and secrecy is better than honesty and openness. You get hierarchical societies where information and resources are hoarded, because of the belief in scarcity. You get a “follow-the-leader” mentality where individuals give away their power. You get a false and polarizing Democratic – Republican dichotomy, where people continue to rigidly support one party or the other even though both parties are corrupt to the core and do exactly the same things when in office.

Openness, honesty and integrity is always superior to secrecy, guile and subterfuge. I talked about this concept in an earlier blog post. However, things have gotten so far out of hand that I feel I have to repeat this message.

Here is a little packet of energy – lets call it a quanta:* A quantum is the building block of all matter and energy, according to physics. We are going to call this quanta the most basic “bit” of information that exists.

Just as matter and energy combines from quanta to form subatomic particles, atoms, molecules, and the various shapes that make our world, so too do bits of information combine to form subsets or collections of useful data. Javascript, for example, is a collection of information – a programming language that helps us create dynamic web pages. Any programming language is essentially composed of 1’s and 0’s – the basic quanta of computer information.

Banking, politics, physics, are all collections of information. So is a blueprint for a house. All information systems came from somebody’s head – they are essentially collections of thought. Here is an information system – a Sumerian tablet:

Guess how useful this is? Not very, because no one now knows how to decipher the symbols that represent the information being conveyed. That knowledge used to be in someone’s head, but even though the data has been written down symbolically, the information that it represents has been lost.

What is information? It’s ideas – thoughts, concepts, that people can understand. If you don’t understand something, it’s worthless.

It’s one thing to simply lose information, but it’s quite another when you deliberately attempt to hide information. The more you try to conceal something, the more energy you have to expend to keep it out of sight.

Secrecy leads to obfuscation, and obfuscation is just extra data you have to add into the system to keep prying eyes from figuring it out. Security systems (codes, encryption, etc) are always expensive add-ons that take time and resources to maintain.

Even when you take out data to prevent people from understanding your information – as in a file that has been compressed or zipped, or computer code that has been minified (taking out spaces and comments and substituting single variable names for longer ones) – you need a special program to maintain the code. That is your extra data. Obfuscation, guile, subterfuge and lies generate extra data into the system, and require more time and energy to maintain the system. The more sophisticated the information system you are trying to hide, the more effort it takes. This eventually leads to a breakdown in the system.

The point is, information systems are only as good as they are open and transparent.

What would happen, for example, if the inventors of Javascript tried to make it so that only a small elite could understand it? Well, it just wouldn’t have worked, because people are smart and can reverse engineer just about anything. (Crime solving is just the reverse-engineering of a crime – the gradual discovery of the data and the information systems used by the criminal to commit the crime.)

Here’s how guile and subterfuge works:

First there is a quantum, a unit of information that combine into a collection that we call an information system. In an open system, that information just sits there and is accessible to anyone: * Perhaps the * represents an open-source program -- code that is free to all users. What if someone wanted to take that code and make a proprietary program that he or she could sell? Well, they would have to cloak their program with security programming, and hire staff to maintain the security system around the program. The same applies to dishonest persons and criminals. Dishonest people lie to obscure their connection to some kind of activity.

Here’s what a lie might look like:

A datum surrounded by other data that hide it.

The very fact of hiding something generates extra data: the “front.” But a front is also a collection of data and needs to be maintained, because lies are themselves data. Criminals forget this little fact until their lies contradict each other and the system caves in on them. The whole thing blows up – the obfuscating data in their carefully designed system of deceit simply falls away, and they are left with the simple truth exposed: *

The origin of the saying “too clever by half” encapsulates this idea of obfuscation through additional information, and the eventual result.

In other words, lies themselves are information systems.

I heard a story this morning on the radio. A guy (let’s call him Mike) wanted to switch from cable to satellite. When the cable guy came over, he told him a lie. He said that he didn’t want to watch TV anymore and so he was going to disconnect his TV. The cable tech then proceeded to ask him questions for 20 minutes. Mike defended himself by telling more and more lies, until he finally blew up and told cable guy to just pull the plug and shut-the-bleep-up.

Have you ever been able to tell just one lie and hide the truth from someone? Well, maybe if you have a reputation for integrity. But then you got that reputation because you’ve been open and aboveboard with people. Lies, like mosquitoes, breed very rapidly, and come back to bite you in the end. Lies create a sort of black-hole phenomenon, until the buildup of energy then collapses the event horizon – and the entire system -- on top of you.

The basis for subterfuge, guile, obfuscation, propaganda, etc. are lies.

It’s really hard to lie, it’s hard to obscure, because you have to expend so much extra energy to keep the system of lies coherent. Integrity is the reason behind success in anything, even in sneak-thief activities, because illogic and inconsistencies stick out like a sore thumb and are recognized. That’s why the term “honor amongst thieves” exists. The most successful thieves are the ones with the most integrity! The “Ocean’s “ movies, although pure fiction, are great examples. Integrity is simply the coherent framework of an information system –any information system! Without that coherence, the system falls apart.

An intelligent person who recognizes this can cut through a lot of bullshit.

For example, I received an invitation in my emailbox the other day from a guy who claims to make over $600,000, automatically, every nine months. This offer came from a very respectable website. He offers “proofs” – photos of his big house and pool, his cars, and printouts of monthly income statements. When I went to his salespage, I discovered that he’s selling a course that costs $27. If this guy is making that much money without any effort, why does he need to advertise and sell a course for a lousy $27? The answer is that his sales page is a false front, because someone who really pulls in over 600 large every nine months on auto-pilot sure doesn’t need your paltry $27!

Nowhere is the art of obfuscation more prevalent than in politics. Politics, as it is practiced on earth, is the art of subterfuge. Politicians are stereotyped as liars, because they are skilled at saying one thing while doing another.

There are so many examples I can’t even list them. The “Monetary Control Act” of 1980, for example, gave the Fed the power to monetize virtually any debt instrument, including bank loans to irresponsible foreign governments, which resulted in an expansion of dollar-denominated debt on a world-wide scale. Bills that support oil companies and fossil fuels masquerading as environmental legislation, bills that purport to stop terrorism but curtail constitutional liberties, governmental accounting practices that obscure the actual allocation of funds, are all part and parcel of a political system that gives lip service to openness and honesty, and supports obfuscation and guile.

Such a system lacks integrity and must collapse, like the Leninist systems of the old Soviet Union and Eastern Europe.

Leninism is an insidious information system that revolves around duplication and obfuscation. In the old Soviet Union, for example, the Party and the government had duplicate departments, so that an appeal to a government agency could be overridden by a similar Party agency, and vice-versa. In the United States today, we have a similar system: the “national security” establishment duplicates many of the functions of our government, but these functions are hidden from the public. The very funding that supports these hidden agencies is supported by lies and obfuscation. If you don't believe me, try to ascertain where the funding for the CIA comes from!

The world financial crisis is also based upon lies – the lies that “structured products” are worth their nominal value. (See previous blog posts).

Almost every problem we have on earth stems from a lack of openness and integrity.

Secrecy and guile is self-defeating, illogical, and irrational. Information systems based upon these false principles must inevitably collapse.

So why not just do it the open and honest way?

Not because of any moral or religious imperative, but because it works the best. Openness and transparency is the strong fabric that supports even the cloth of dishonesty. That’s why criminals and dishonest people are often much stupider than the rest of us – and have a much greater chance of failure.

_____________________
Kenneth James Michael MacLean
http://www.kjmaclean.com
http://www.sunrise-production.org
http://www.marketingwithspirit.comkjmacleanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16522340092665493512noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34505699.post-65333836673413517952009-04-15T11:45:00.000-07:002009-04-15T11:52:16.025-07:00
It's Nitty-Gritty Time Part 3

Even though current events seem to indicate that the world is going to hell in a handbasket, as my beloved grandfather used to say, I believe that the human race is coming together। There is tremendous demand for positive change, which is rocking the foundations of the old order. The "establishment" - which just represents the old way of thinking -- is resisting in the only way it knows how: through the old, conventional patterns of conflict, coercion, propaganda, and guile.

The old memes, or patterns of thought, have been strongly established within the human psyche over the past 5 millennia. They act as attractors do in chaos theory, forming basins that direct thought and action back to them.

Einstein postulated the well-accepted idea that gravity is the curvature of space. Like a bowling ball on a trampoline, space actually curves around a massive object, causing everything in its vicinity to have a tendency to fall into its orbit. When you put smaller balls on the trampoline, they move toward the bigger ball.

Imagine that thought has the same properties. Imagine that the big ball in the center is composed of all of the old, outdated beliefs of humanity, like conflict resolution through war, greed, scarcity, domination, control, guile, etc. Even though these thought forms are irrational, they have come to be widely accepted. And when that happens, they act as attracting basins, guiding the thoughts and beliefs of individuals to them.

If you've ever been in the presence of a powerful person, you know how he or she almost magnetically draws you into their space, and their ideas. If you've ever been with a group of people who all thought one way, while you thought another, you know what I'm talking about. Thought itself has a presence that you can feel, and it can entrain other thoughts to it. The more people agree on something, even if it is nutty, the more powerful it becomes.

It's the same with widely accepted ideas like patriotism, and war, and poverty, and "you can't fight the government." That's what has happened with the thought forms of the human race. We have built a prison of self-limiting thought, and we have been stuck in it for the past 5,000 years. But that is changing rapidly as the internet, and mobile technology, have brought us together. People all over the world are demanding positive change, but this demand is as yet undirected, and that is causing chaos. But it's a positive chaos, because it is leading to the establishment of a new attracting basin of thought.

The old thought forms are now coming up for inspection. As the consciousness of humanity rises, it is detaching from the old attractor and disturbing it. The thought forms of the new consciousness are forming a new attractor. Like a guy stuck in a bog, he's going to make a mess when he begins to extricate himself!

In order for this leap of consciousness to occur on a species-wide level, however, humanity must, as individuals, step into their power. By that I mean, individuals must trust themselves, think for themselves, make their own decisions and live their lives as if each decision has meaning. Stepping into your power means understanding that the universe has been designed to support each and every decision you make, and that your choices result in corresponding manifestations. In the new energy, it is no longer supported to allow others "higher up on the chain" to make your decisions for you. No longer is it possible to sit on the fence, or detach yourself from life, and hope that something good will come. When the wind blows strongly, you must brace yourself, or be blown hither and yon. You must have a direction!

The population increase has resulted in a vibrational acceleration of consciousness, on the subtle but powerful plane of thought. All of us feel this. Some of us feel it as an inner excitement, an eagerness to get going and create. Some of us experience this as nervousness or anxiety. And those who strongly resist the new energy strongly feel depressed, or panicked, as they see the old patterns of thought dissolving. This causes them to react irrationally. And if you have any inkling of what is going on in government and high finance, you know that irrationality is the order of the day!

In just about every country on planet earth, individuals have allowed self-seeking incompetents to rise to the top of our political and economic structures. I have been watching politics for 40 years here in the United States, and I have seen a parade of morons at the highest levels, who seem bent on doing the worst for our country.

But my message is not a negative one. I believe that the human race is creating the conditions we see manifesting before us - there are no evil forces out there deciding what is to be our future.
It is so exciting! This time, right now, is what many of us signed up for. We wanted to be here, to help push the human race to a new level of consciousness. No matter what happens on the way, I believe that we will evolve to a new level of awareness as a species.

The human race is manifestly an adolescent species. The first, very basic requirement for a sane species is internal cooperation. If you look over our history for the past 7,000 years, you will see quite readily that humanity has been fighting a sort of internecine battle within itself. The human race has never advanced for any length of time without collapsing again. Cultures have risen and golden ages have come about, but never permanently.

We have looked at history and assumed that it is a natural law that societies rise and fall, but nothing could be farther from the truth.

The truth is that our decisions determine the parameters and the boundaries of what is possible, and what is not possible. The big ball in the middle of the diagram above represents the collective thoughts of the race. The goal of the old order is to keep the thoughts of individuals revolving around the same tired and superfluous concepts. The goal of the new consciousness should not be to fight the old order (for then the action occurs on their turf) but to create the new.

It isn't possible to create something new by fighting the status quo, because then your thoughts are entrained and focused on what is not wanted. This is very well understood by those who prefer to keep things exactly as they are!

The questions we must ask ourselves are,
What do you want in your life?
What is possible ?

The answers to these questions will determine how far we can advance in our personal lives, and how far our species will advance. Fuzzy, undirected thought will lead to a fuzzy, undirected outcome.

With the huge increase in population, consciousness is approaching a tipping point. But will we go back to the old ways, or strike off boldly into a new era? Will this change be a very small quantum leap, or a large one?

Again we must ask ourselves, what do we believe is possible?
Do not fret। All is well. We are now on an exciting journey, both personally and as a race, into a new level of consciousness. If we reach for the stars, we will get them!

Kenneth James Michael MacLean
http://www.kjmaclean.com
http://www.sunrise-production.org
http://www.marketingwithspirit.com
kjmacleanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16522340092665493512noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34505699.post-61070002199697224922009-04-15T11:40:00.000-07:002009-04-15T11:43:12.536-07:00

Its Nitty-Gritty Time Part 2

For 5,000 years, human societies have been oriented around the belief systems of scarcity and unworthiness. Opposing that is a new rise in consciousness and a demand for positive change, which is as yet undirected. Our use of scarce and polluting fossil fuels, and our hierarchical political and economic systems reflect exactly what we believe about ourselves.

In the August 2008 issue of Discover Magazine, for example, an article called "What Fills the Emptiness?" stated that

"If some clever engineer were ever to extract energy from the vacuum ("free energy") it could set off a chain reaction that would spread at the speed of light and destroy the universe."

Oh really? Well, I guess, then, that we are forever doomed to use scarce fossil fuels for energy. It's a perfect example of a limiting belief that constrains action into narrow, status-quo channels. It reminds me of the belief that women should not be educated, because increased knowledge would interfere with childbirth. These limiting memes have been a part of the human race for millennia; but we can no longer afford them if we are to advance as a species.

It is said that a country always gets the government its citizens deserve. That's because you can't grow something in soil that will not support it. It's time that human beings realized the power and importance of our choices, and our thoughts, in determining how our societies and organizations are structured.

As David Bohm, the brilliant physicist said,

"there is a universal flux that cannot be defined explicitly, but which can be known only implicitly, as indicated by the explicitly definable forms and shapes, some stable and some unstable, that can be abstracted from the universal flux. In this flow, [which Bohm calls the holomovement] mind and matter are not separate substances. Rather, they are different aspects of one whole and unbroken movement."

This thought has been expressed in many different forms throughout history, and by every culture, and it essentially says that mind, matter, and consciousness are not separate, but united, and that each affects the other.

What is the result of a demand for abundance within a consciousness of scarcity? Precisely what we see manifested in the current financial crisis, which has resulted from an explosion of financial instruments that do not correspond with the goods and services they (supposedly) represent. When you really believe that you are unworthy, but demand prosperity, what happens? You run up big credit card bills! That is what has happened to the human race during the past 20 years: the there has been a tremendous demand for abundance without a corresponding shift in belief systems. The evil bankers and politicians, however, who supposedly caused the world financial crisis - without any help, of course, from honest and blameless citizens -- did not operate in a vacuum!

They felt the increased demand and acted upon it, precisely according to the parameters of acceptance in our collective belief systems. As my grandma used to say, "it takes two to tango!"

It is fitting that the old order has fastened itself firmly within the nation that also best represented the new order of freedom and prosperity for all: The United States. Today, the United States is the primary playing field in which the chaotic interaction between the old memes and the new consciousness is playing out, although it is unfolding in every country in the world. Other nations criticize the United States, with very good reason, but every person on earth is contributing their bit. The worldwide financial crisis has been created by each and every one of us, because we are all in this together. The actors on the financial and political stage are ALWAYS constrained by what the people will accept.

In the United States, Barack Obama is the representative of the new who is surrounded by those who wish to keep the old order in place. There is still a tremendous excitement that resonates around the world at the election of this man. He is a transitional figure who represents the hope of everyone in the world for positive change.

Monetarily, the United States has funded it's prosperity through the borrowing and the printing of money, and now it finds itself bankrupt, completely dependent upon the good wishes of the rest of the world. The worldwide explosion in derivatives contracts, the vast majority of which are denominated in dollars, has reached a nominal value of almost $700 trillion, but has an estimated market value of around $17 trillion. All of the world's major banks have balance sheets bloated with these derivatives products, and the question is, what to do with them? If these derivatives are valued properly, the banks collapse. Barclay's bank, for example, claims assets of almost 2 trillion pounds, while the Gross National Product of the entire nation of Great Britain is only 1.4 trillion pounds!

Because the United States was the leading country financially, and its currency the world standard, its practices represented the desire of all of humanity for greater prosperity. This is fitting, because the old and the new are uniting. On planet earth, in our culture of scarcity, the representation of prosperity is money. That is why the battle between the old and the new has focused in the arena of money and finance. It could have evolved in no other way.

Humanity right now is reaching for a new level of consciousness, which is just over the horizon. The human race is on the cusp of a new understanding. The only question is, will this new understanding come about smoothly, or will it involve a collapse of the current financial system?

We will decide. The actors on the stage are constrained in their actions by the decisions of the rest of humanity. Again, the people who we see as crooks, or as evil, are not! They are merely filling a vacuum of leadership and power that the rest of us are asking them to fill. And they are doing so precisely according to our vibrational direction, just as a movie actor will follow the instructions of the movie director. Would you blame the water for following the path of least resistance, as it moves down the hill and into the plain? Of course not!

We all know the growing pains of the adolescent, as he or she struggles with their growing body. This is precisely what is happening with the human race right now. We are growing, sometimes painfully, out of our old shell and metamorphosing into a bright, brand new creature. What will that new being look like? We will decide.

I believe that there is great, great, vast potential for a huge quantum leap in awareness. When that leap in awareness occurs, the face of our planet will literally change in a very short period of time, as the movement forward that has been blocked by our own self-limiting beliefs, dissolves. It is like a blind, deaf, and dumb person regaining the use of all of her senses. The horizons simply expand beyond what we thought was possible. That which is not known or even imagined at the old level now becomes possible!

Kenneth James Michael MacLean

http://www.kjmaclean.com
http://www.sunrise-production.org
http://www.marketingwithspirit.com

kjmacleanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16522340092665493512noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34505699.post-23095332300696650732009-03-30T14:11:00.000-07:002009-03-30T14:20:47.096-07:00TALF – The Great Obama Scam

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Sorry about all of the recent economic posts, folks, but the more the current financial crisis unfolds, the more preposterous it gets! Frankly, I can't believe what I'm seeing, and I use this forum to vent a little, and, hopefully, to enlighten my readers and inspire them to take positive action. ;)
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Well, it looks like the current administration is a carbon copy of the old one. First it was TARP, a scam bailout of big banks and insurance companies like AIG. Then, the “stimulus” bill. Now comes TALF, the grand Geithner plan to buy up toxic assets and relieve the banks of the burden of worthless derivative assets (“structured products”) that they themselves created.

You’ll recall that in February, soon after Obama was sworn in, the House and Senate passed a “stimulus” bill. This bill, which no one in Congress bothered to read (of course) is supposed to “stimulate” the economy by creating around $800 billion more fiat money. But of course, money is not really money, is it? It’s debt.

Take out a bill of any denomination and read the top. It says “Federal Reserve Note.” A note is a promise to pay, a debt. The FRN is simply an IOU. All money in our economy is actually debt. If you don’t believe me, go to You Tube and watch a movie called “Money As Debt.”

Fiat money, or money by decree, can be created by the Fed because it is backed by nothing of value, and is itself intrinsically worthless. In fact, our currency, the dollar, is just another scam. If you look on any bill you will see the inscription “This note is legal tender for all debts public and private.” Legal tender laws force you to accept worthless Federal Reserve Notes in exchange for valuable goods and services. When the printing of money can be accomplished with no restraint, you get a destruction and a devaluation of the currency. And that is precisely what has happened, in case you just arrived from the planet Remulak and haven’t a clue.

Now, back to the stimulus bill. Recall that President Obama promised the most open, transparent administration in history. He pledged to not sign bills that hadn't been posted online for the public to read for at least five days BEFORE the final vote was cast.
Speaker Nancy Pelosi promised that the final version of the stimulus bill would be posted online for at least 48 hours before the vote. Here's what happened instead:

The 1,073 page bill, with an extra 421 page Explanatory Statement, was delivered, still unfinished, at midnight Thursday Feb 12th. The House passed the bill 14 hours and 24 minutes later. The Senate did likewise 3 hours and 5 minutes after the House. This “stimulus bill” still had handwritten notes in the margins at the time it was passed. (Source, DownsizeDC.org)

So much for campaign promises, and so much for integrity. But that was just the start. Now comes TALF, or Term Asset Backed Securities Loan Facility. This nutty plan will operate, in a nutshell, like this:

“Toxic assets,” (as they have been described by the White House Press secretary) are to be bought up using more fiat money that has been created out of thin air by the Federal Reserve. In anticipation of this new debt, Congress recently increased the Statutory Debt Ceiling from $9.662 trillion dollars to over $12.1 trillion. The Obama administration plans to print 2.3 trillion dollars of new money between March and Sep 30, 2009 (the end of the government’s fiscal year.) This money will go to “investors” who will buy up the “toxic” assets at their nominal value. Of course their real (market) value is unknown, but is certainly much, much less than their stated value. That’s why the banks are in trouble. They are carrying “assets” on their balance sheets that have no relationship to reality.

Congress, and the government, is apparently prepared to continue this charade. It’s nothing more than a game of musical chairs. A Ponzi scam. Print more bad money to bail out bad investment decisions. As long as the music doesn’t stop, the game can continue (the game of printing and creating more fiat money -- debt -- out of thin air) until hyperinflation causes a crash and the music stops.

What is the result of the crash? A readjustment back to true market value. So, you ask, why not do that in the first place before things get even worse? That’s the question you must ask your Congressional representatives and your President.

Sure, some people are going to get hurt, but those are the people who made bad choices. Don’t punish the rest of us who have been responsible and pay our debts! Governments, however, reward irresponsibility and punish honesty. Governments reward losers and punish winners. That is a recipe for failure, as we are seeing manifest right before our eyes.

What will happen, of course, is that after $800 billion of TARP and $800 billion of “stimulus” bills, and another $2.3 trillion of TALF, hyperinflation will result, as too much currency chases too few goods and services. Who gets hurt during inflationary periods? Why, the old and the poor, the very people the Democrats say they want to help. Not to mention honest, able people who have saved up their money and now see their purchasing power diminish as the Fed continues to create more and more money (debt).

The argument that new money will stimulate the economy is disingenuous at best, because everyone understands that it’s going to take a long time for that stimulus to actually result in the production of more goods and services in the private sector. The real problem is that all of this new money will eventually find its way back to the banks. It’s another disguised bailout, and it’s what the Democrats and the Republicans are hoping you don’t figure out.

The people in Congress should understand this, but they apparently do not. If your congressman or Senator votes(d) for these bills, they should be recalled.
(Guess what, people? The arguments you see on TV are all for show. Democrats and Republicans are actually quite friendly. They see each other outside the Capitol Building, have dinner, and socialize together. If you think there is a fundamental difference between Democrats and Republicans – despite what idiots like Bill Maher say -- I’ve got a used car I’d like to sell you.)

Back to TALF. Let me ask you something: if you lent $10,000 to your brother-in-law and you know he can’t pay it back, what do you do? Well, you write that $10,000 off your personal balance sheet. It’s just too bad, but you have to eat it.

The government’s plan, however, under TALF, is to go out and get a credit card and put $10,000 on it. Except that they are playing with trillions, not thousands!

How can you “buy back” worthless assets by creating more debt? You can’t.

But this is the insane plan of the Obama administration, the Geithner Treasury, and the Democrats. Of course, the hypocritical Republicans, who did the same thing when they had control of Congress, are now playing holier-than-thou.

What’s the point?

The point is, we can no longer trust the Republican or the Democratic parties. The Republican-Democratic debate is a false dichotomy, as I have pointed out in an earlier blog post. Until the electorate wakes up and refuses to put any more of these jokers in office, America will continue down the road to financial ruin.

What can you do?

Join Downsize DC at DownsizeDC.org (non-profit). I promise I’ll eventually put up parts 2 and part 3 of It’s Nitty-Gritty Time. I’ve been busier than a one-legged buttkicker the past month, working on my new project, called The Give-A-Shit-O-Meter. That’s correct, folks. Two TRILLION dollars.

And where will that money come from, do you think?

Well, after soaking the private sector for several trillion, the Fed will simply print more money. Or the Geithner Treasury will try to sell more worthless Treasury securities to a world that is awash in dollar-denominated debt.

In a previous blog post I mentioned that the Obama administration plans to borrow $2.7 trillion over the next 7 months. Frankly, I didn’t believe it. I didn’t believe that the level of mismanagement of our government’s finances could be so egregious. But apparently it is.

You’ll recall that last month, President Obama sent secretary of State Hillary Clinton to China. Secretary Clinton told the Chinese leaders that they would have to keep buying our debt so that we could keep buying their products. Huh? Didn't we used to make those products?

The Chinese already hold trillions of dollars worth of our debt. The entire world knows the United States is bankrupt. Apparently, our Congressional representatives haven’t a clue.

Why would anyone in their right mind buy more US debt?

The answer is that the rest of the world is fed up with the United States’ fiscal policies. We are trading on the fact that the dollar is still the linchpin world currency, to pay our debts by simply inflating our currency. It ain’t going to happen, folks, because the rest of the world has wised up. We are not going to be able to float anymore debt, certainly not trillions of dollars worth.

So what will happen? The Fed will simply create more money to fill the huge deficit spending hole, further devaluing the dollar. Will the government actually reign in spending, as you and I must do when our expenses exceed our income? Nope.

Congress does not even read the bills they pass. That’s how a budget can be passed with a $2 trillion dollar hole in it. If you want to do something about that, go here : http://www.downsizedc.org/etp/campaigns/27

At the same time, Speaker Pelosi announced that the Federal government is looking out for you, by passing legislation that will try to take back around $185 million in bonuses paid by AIG to its executives, after that disgusting bailout last year.

Thanks, Nancy.

You are planning to borrow and spend TWO TRILLION more than you take in this year, and you expect us to be happy because you’re going after a paltry $185 million?

That is the state of affairs in our country today. Our representatives have gone stark, raving, mad.

The Democratic and the Republican parties are both irresponsible and corrupt. These two parties are killing us, devaluing our currency, our economy, and no one seems to care.

I went to CNN.com, expecting to see the projected government deficit as front page news.

Guess what?

It wasn’t even mentioned. The Fourth Estate is just as irresponsible as Congress.

If you continue to vote Democratic or Republican, you are voting to continue the madness.

I voted Libertarian again, for the 4th election in a row, but my vote doesn’t count. Third party votes aren’t even mentioned anymore. All pretense of an actual democracy has been tossed out of the window. It’s just the “red” gang versus the “blue” gang on the Big Political Map. Reminds me of the Crips and the Bloods feud in L.A. several years ago.

What’s the difference between the old Soviet Union and the United States today? Not much. A huge, corrupt government, fake elections, and an economy that is going down the tubes.

But in the Soviet Union, at least the people KNEW their government was lying.

In the United States, we swallow bigger and bigger untruths and put up with more and more gross mismanagement of our currency and our economy every day, without blinking an eye.

kjmacleanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16522340092665493512noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34505699.post-27032787180603618842009-03-11T09:07:00.000-07:002009-03-11T09:11:10.806-07:00It's Nitty-Gritty Time! Part 1

As this is being written, our species is on the brink of a world-wide financial collapse. It appears that our future is in the hands of a small elite, but I would argue that our fate is in the hands of all of us.

We are, collectively, writing the screenplay for the next act. Some have said that the year 2012 will somehow, mysteriously, lead to a resolution of our predicament. A magical number like 2012, however, will not determine our future. This sort of thinking is what got us into the mess in the first place. Looking toward 2012 is like asking Merlin the powerful wizard to wave a magic wand and make everything all right. As individuals and as a species, we have been sleeping for millennia, but it's now time to WAKE UP.

The demand for change is growing exponentially. As the vast majority of us live our normal, daily lives, a significant number of us are asking for an evolution out of the old, imprisoning memes of thought. This asking is creating a vibrational whirlwind that is shaking the foundations of the old order.

What are the dominant memes of the old order? Scarcity and unworthiness, which leads to a "follow-the-leader" mentality, and creates hierarchical structures. Geometrically speaking, the most prevalent and well-known of these structures on earth is the pyramid, with a very large base at the bottom, and a very small tip at the top. The earth is littered with them, and they exist on every continent except Australia.

The pyramid is the perfect representation of mankind's belief systems.

A pyramid is wide at the bottom and tapers to a small point at the top, inviting domination and control. Naturally, since there is only a very small space at the top, those who want to take a leadership role gravitate to these positions. Because the masses of humanity have, in the past, given up their power, our societies have a "top down" orientation that perfectly satisfies all of the participants. Those at the bottom gripe and moan about their condition (while maintaining the attitude that "you can't fight city hall") while those at the top, left without direction, see fit to do as they please. This has lead to societies that eventually spin out of control and deteriorate, as those at the top aggrandize more and more power to themselves. Eventually such a society must fail, because it is imbalanced. And so we begin the process all over again. That has been the cycle for the past several millennia, after the collapse of the last great civilization on our planet, which some have called Atlantis.

Now, however, the demand for change is so high that it is rocking the foundations of this well-established pattern. Right now, the world is facing a financial crisis that is a perfect representation of the vibrational patterns of thought in the species.

The old, top-down order defends itself by using the old methods of coercion, conflict, and domination. The new consciousness requests more harmony, cooperation and abundance for all. The new paradigm feels its way, like a blind man who is just beginning to see the light through eyes that are beginning to function properly, into a stronger and stronger vibrational resonance.

The result is, of course chaotic. But science has done a good job of describing chaotic systems. When a natural system becomes chaotic, it will inevitably stabilize itself after a period of time. That is precisely what is occurring at this time. The important thing to recognize is that WE, as individuals, are choosing the new patterns of thought, right now, around which the new system will resonate.

Individuals are NOT powerless! Collectively we determine the parameters of action of the so-called elites. The prominent belief systems in societies with hierarchical structures is scarcity, and unworthiness. As Erich Fromm described in his 1941 book "Escape From Freedom," individuals within human societies seem to enjoy giving authority over their lives to governments and authority figures. This "follow-the-leader" mentality gets the human race into trouble time after time, as leaders gravitate to the power vacuum caused by the abandonment of individual responsibility by its citizens.

Kenneth James Michael MacLean has written 8 inspiring books, over 100 content-rich articles, and produced two movies.
